Distinct from other silicone sprays, Bel-Ray Silicone Detailer and Protectant Spray can be used on rubber surfaces and will protect them from drying out, making it a must-have product for mechanics preparing bikes for storage.

Jeff Ward Training Facility
Courtesy of Jeff Ward Training Facility
Perris, CA. – Jeff Ward has been in the motorsports
industry since he moved to the United States at age three (3) and
motocross has always been his highlight. Who better to start a motocross
training school than Jeff. With his roots in motocross and having
accrued 9 AMA Championships in Motocross, Supercross, and Supermoto, you
can say he knows a lot to what goes into being a professional motocross
racer. Not just on the track but off the track as well. The facility
will be open to all skill levels, age, and gender of rider.
“I am very excited to start up the training school. I have always
trained a few racers on the side for fun, so I figured why not make it a
full school,” said Jeff. “I am doing this with the help of my son,
Brandon. We have had the idea to do this for quite a while and he has
devoted countless hours working on the website and planning out the
whole future of the company.”
Right now the Jeff Ward Training Facility, or JW Training Facility, is still in the beginning stage and currently holding daily training sessions at local Southern California tracks for $150 a session. They are planning to expand in the very near future and be able to accommodate a place to stay for a week long (to multiple weeks long) camp as well as have a line up of bikes available to ride for those farther away planning on coming out and staying without having to haul their bike.
“We are currently working on improving our facility,” said Brandon Ward. “We are making updates to the house and hopefully building a gym soon or possibly partnering with a current gym. Being at the location we are at, it is great for cycling, mountain biking, and pretty much any off-track training you can think of. There will be a lot of improvements and additions to the facility as we progress.”
Their next session is Tuesday December 11, 2012 at Milestone MX Park in Riverside, Ca. With Christmas right around the corner, it would make a great present!
You can always contact them to set up a future date that isn’t listed on the site. You can log on to their website at www.jwtrainingfacility.com or check them out on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter. There will be updates on the site soon including a calendar that has upcoming training sessions as well as a few other additions to the packages. Visit the website for more info on what is all included with a training session. If you have any further questions don’t hesitate to email them at info@jwtrainingfacility.com.

Monster Energy Ricky Carmichael Daytona Amateur Supercross Returns With Two-Day Racing Format
Courtesy of MX Sports
This year will once again feature two full-days of racing, offering amateur racers even more track time and class options throughout the weekend. Highlighted changes for 2013 include the addition of the Masters (50+) class and the splitting of the 450 C and 250 C classes into two age-appropriate categories: (14-21) and (22+).
"MX Sports put great consideration into revising the classes for 2013 in order to provide greater opportunities for our participants," said Event Director Tim Cotter. "Based off the high participation numbers in the past, our team made the decision to split the 450 C and 250 C classes into two categories in order to give racers more time on the track and an even greater opportunity to make the main event."
Amateur racers once again have the unprecedented opportunity to compete on one of the most prestigious motorsports grounds in the world only one day after the pros. Perhaps the most enticing factor of this event is that 15-Time Champion Ricky Carmichael will be on site all weekend long to converse with amateur racers and their families while offering up tips and advice.
"I'm excited to be back at my racing home-Daytona International Speedway-for another year of RCSX," said 15-Time Champion, Ricky Carmichael. "This event has really grown into something special and it's cool to be a part of such a great opportunity for amateur racers. I'm looking forward to watching some great amateur racing at Daytona."
The class structure includes classes for youth riders on 50cc bikes all the way up to vet and senior classes. The race will follow a supercross format, using heat races and last chance qualifiers to seed the field of riders into a main event in each class, over the course of two days. Unlike the Loretta Lynn Ranch format, riders do not need to qualify at other races in order to participate in the Daytona event. Because of the supercross format, please note that class entries are limited in order to give participants the utmost time on the race track.
Amateur riders and their families are encouraged to come down early and camp on the Daytona infield, where hookups are available. Move in, sign up and camping begin on Friday, March 8, so amateur families can watch the pros compete on Saturday night in the Daytona Supercross. Amateur racing takes place on Sunday, March 10 and Monday, March 11.
For more information on the event, please visit www.racedaytona.com. To register for the 2013 RCSX, click HERE.

Supercross by Honda.Returns With Two-Day Racing Format

Announcing Team Pro Circuit 2013
Courtesy of Pro Circuit
CORONA, Calif., – Monster Energy/Pro Circuit/Kawasaki is excited to both welcome back familiar faces and inject new blood into its legendary and championship-winning program.
Martin Davalos and Justin Hill will be the newest faces under the Monster Energy/Pro Circuit/Kawasaki tent in 2013, and will join Blake Baggett, Darryn Durham, Tyla Rattray and Dean Wilson in the hunt for the 2013 Monster Energy AMA Supercross and Lucas Oil AMA Pro Motocross Championships.
The Champ
Fresh off helping earn bronze for Team USA at the 2012 Motocross of Nations held in Belgium, Baggett brings the momentum of the 2012 Lucas Oil AMA Pro Motocross 250 Class Championship into the 2013 season. Baggett made history during the motocross season by holding on to the 250 class points lead for 11 consecutive rounds. He finished fourth in the 2012 Monster Energy Supercross Lites (now dubbed 250SX) East Championship and will enter his fourth season as a pro, making him an integral member of the Monster Energy/Pro Circuit/Kawasaki team.
The Joker
Darryn Durham will also be returning in 2013. The Pennsylvania native, who earned a career-first supercross win with Monster Energy/Pro Circuit/Kawasaki at the New Orleans round of the 2012 Monster Energy Supercross season, is excited to return with the team. Durham’s fun and outgoing personality is a great addition to the group and always brings excitement to the track.
“I’m excited to be part of the team,” said Durham. “Everyone works their butt off to win. I look forward to going racing again and trying to bring home a championship!”
The Veteran
Hailing from Ecuador, Martin Davalos is a new addition to the team, but brings with him the experience of competing in the 250 class. This may be his last year in the class, so he is focused on making this his best year to date.
“I’m pretty excited to be part of the team,” said Davalos. “This is a great opportunity for me, and probably my last chance in this class, so I have to make it count. I’m very thankful that I’ve been given the opportunity, and I’m looking forward to the start of the season.”
The Rookie
This will be Justin Hill’s very first year in the pro ranks. He is ready to move up to the big league after a successful amateur career that was molded by the legendary Monster Energy Kawasaki Team Green amateur motocross program. Hill’s goal of competing with the professionals has finally come to fruition, as he will make his pro debut in 2013 with Monster Energy/ Pro Circuit/ Kawasaki.
“I’m excited to be part of the winningest team in moto history,” said Hill. “I’m confident that I will learn a lot from everyone in my transition from amateur to professional.”
A New Dynasty
Monster Energy/Pro Circuit/Kawasaki is well known for its dominance in the 250 class, but 2012 marked a historical year for the team as they fielded their first 450 class rider. The team will continue its presence in the class with the return of Dean Wilson and Tyla Rattray in 2013. Wilson, the 2011 Lucas Oil AMA Pro Motocross 250 Class Champion, and Rattray have both seen success with the team, and are excited to be part of a new chapter in Monster Energy/Pro Circuit/Kawasaki’s legendary program. Both will compete in the 250SX class during the 2013 Monster Energy Supercross series, and will move up to the 450 class for the 2013 Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship series in the hopes of starting a new tradition of dominance to complement the team’s already illustrious history.
The Monster Energy/Pro Circuit/Kawasaki team will make its 2013 debut during the opening round of the 2013 Monster Energy Supercross Series, which will be held Saturday, January 5, at Angel Stadium in Anaheim, Calif.
