"The Loretta Lynn's Area Qualifier and Regional Championship schedule was founded over 30 years ago with the best tracks and organizers in the country," said MX Sports Event Director Tim Cotter. "It is important that our competitors know that when they attend our events they are going to receive a quality program at a premiere facility. I feel confident that we are continuing that same tradition with the 2013 schedule."
The 2013 Red Bull Amateur National Motocross Championship will take place Sunday, July 28 - Saturday, August 3 at Loretta Lynn Ranch in Hurricane Mills, Tenn. For more information, visit the series website at www.mxsports.com.

Announcing Team Pro Circuit 2013
Courtesy of Pro Circuit
CORONA, Calif., – Monster Energy/Pro Circuit/Kawasaki is excited to both welcome back familiar faces and inject new blood into its legendary and championship-winning program.
Martin Davalos and Justin Hill will be the newest faces under the Monster Energy/Pro Circuit/Kawasaki tent in 2013, and will join Blake Baggett, Darryn Durham, Tyla Rattray and Dean Wilson in the hunt for the 2013 Monster Energy AMA Supercross and Lucas Oil AMA Pro Motocross Championships.
The Champ
Fresh off helping earn bronze for Team USA at the 2012 Motocross of Nations held in Belgium, Baggett brings the momentum of the 2012 Lucas Oil AMA Pro Motocross 250 Class Championship into the 2013 season. Baggett made history during the motocross season by holding on to the 250 class points lead for 11 consecutive rounds. He finished fourth in the 2012 Monster Energy Supercross Lites (now dubbed 250SX) East Championship and will enter his fourth season as a pro, making him an integral member of the Monster Energy/Pro Circuit/Kawasaki team.
The Joker
Darryn Durham will also be returning in 2013. The Pennsylvania native, who earned a career-first supercross win with Monster Energy/Pro Circuit/Kawasaki at the New Orleans round of the 2012 Monster Energy Supercross season, is excited to return with the team. Durham’s fun and outgoing personality is a great addition to the group and always brings excitement to the track.
“I’m excited to be part of the team,” said Durham. “Everyone works their butt off to win. I look forward to going racing again and trying to bring home a championship!”
The Veteran
Hailing from Ecuador, Martin Davalos is a new addition to the team, but brings with him the experience of competing in the 250 class. This may be his last year in the class, so he is focused on making this his best year to date.
“I’m pretty excited to be part of the team,” said Davalos. “This is a great opportunity for me, and probably my last chance in this class, so I have to make it count. I’m very thankful that I’ve been given the opportunity, and I’m looking forward to the start of the season.”
The Rookie
This will be Justin Hill’s very first year in the pro ranks. He is ready to move up to the big league after a successful amateur career that was molded by the legendary Monster Energy Kawasaki Team Green amateur motocross program. Hill’s goal of competing with the professionals has finally come to fruition, as he will make his pro debut in 2013 with Monster Energy/ Pro Circuit/ Kawasaki.
“I’m excited to be part of the winningest team in moto history,” said Hill. “I’m confident that I will learn a lot from everyone in my transition from amateur to professional.”
A New Dynasty
Monster Energy/Pro Circuit/Kawasaki is well known for its dominance in the 250 class, but 2012 marked a historical year for the team as they fielded their first 450 class rider. The team will continue its presence in the class with the return of Dean Wilson and Tyla Rattray in 2013. Wilson, the 2011 Lucas Oil AMA Pro Motocross 250 Class Champion, and Rattray have both seen success with the team, and are excited to be part of a new chapter in Monster Energy/Pro Circuit/Kawasaki’s legendary program. Both will compete in the 250SX class during the 2013 Monster Energy Supercross series, and will move up to the 450 class for the 2013 Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship series in the hopes of starting a new tradition of dominance to complement the team’s already illustrious history.
The Monster Energy/Pro Circuit/Kawasaki team will make its 2013 debut during the opening round of the 2013 Monster Energy Supercross Series, which will be held Saturday, January 5, at Angel Stadium in Anaheim, Calif.

Cobra motos into the Mini Os for an all-out assault
on the 50 & 65 podiums!
Cobra’s Gage Linville wraps up his 50cc career with
Cobra this week in Gainesville, Ryder Di Francesco’s last ride on the Cobra
50JR bike
This just in … Cobra
will debut the brand new 2013 CX65 @ the Mini Os!
HILLSDALE, Mich., (Nov. 20, 2012) – For 41 years now the Thanksgiving MX
right-of-passage has been going down in Gainesville, Fla., featuring some of
the nation’s best amateur motocross prospects in a unique Supercross/Motocross
format known formally as the Thor Winter National Olympics, presented by Pro
Circuit at Gatorback Cycle Park.
Or you can just call them the “Mini Os.”
Since the American-made mini bike company’s inception in
1993, Cobras have been a fixture on the Mini Os’ 50cc class podiums. With more
than 300-plus major amateur national MX titles – many of which were earned at
Gatorback Cycle Park – Cobra riders return to Gainesville this week, Nov.
19-24, in hopes of writing another amazingly successful chapter in the heritage
of Michigan’s Cobra Motorcycles.
Beginning Monday and running through Saturday, the week-long
racing festival celebrating amateur motocross will undoubtedly be highlighted –
yet again – by some stellar performances by Cobra Moto kids. In 2011 Cobra’s Georgia
Rocket, Gage Linville (7-8
class), and New York’s Reed Cooper (4-6
class) - names certainly destine to be reckoned with in the future (see
Cobra’s: Millsaps, Alessi, Canard, Bowers, Stroupe, Izzi & Cianciarulo) -
raced to overall combined class victories on one of America’s key proving
grounds for competition mini cycle brands.
In addition, the overall 2011 Loretta Lynn’s 50cc class 7-8
podium, including Reed and two of Cobra’s Bakersfield (Calif.) Boyz - Ryder
Di Francesco and Jett Reynolds – making up the entire 4-6 50cc class Olympiad
podium at the Mini Os, the first time in memory that that’s occurred.
For 2012 here Cobra is again favored to dominate the 50cc
class, while continuing to raise the CX65’s marque in the 65cc classes. Favored
to top the Mini Os’ 50cc 7-8 class, in his last major race on a Cobra King 50,
is Linville. And though 2011 Mini Os Cobra star Cooper can’t make it (still
digging out in N.Y. after Hurricane Sandy), Di Francesco will make a run at
Linville in his first national competition on the King 50, while Reynolds will
certainly wick up the action as he makes the trip to Florida from California to
race, along with seven-year-old Brock Bennett (Bakersfield, Calif.) who’s making his first trip to the Mini Os.
On the 65s look for some quality motos out of Michigan’s Jaiden
Taylor, along with local Floridian racer Tommy
Rios on his Cobra CX65.
With Cobra providing full factory support with its team of
engineers, make sure to stop by the Cobra hauler and check out the new 2013 “Works”
CX65 featuring its revolutionary full A-Kit 37mm CARD front forks.
Up now for Cobra: 41st
annual Thor Winter National Olympics, presented by Pro Circuit, Gatorback Cycle
Park, Gainesville, Fla. (Nov. 19-24).
Cobra, founded in 1993, produces the most successful line of
competition mini cycles in the United States with more than 300 national titles
in the last decade. Based out of Hillsdale, Mich., Cobra's mission is to build
premium products for the serious racer. For more information on Cobra products,

JGRMX Aligns with Factory Effex
Courtesy of JGRMX
Valencia, CA – Factory Effex, Inc. has signed a
multiyear agreement with JGRMX as the teams official graphics sponsor.
The agreement also includes a multiyear deal for lifestyle soft goods
and apparel that will be co-branded with JGRMX and select team affiliate
sponsors.
“The agreement will include a range of team replica graphic kits and
seat covers that will be custom tailored to the teams needs for 2013 and
beyond” says Scott Gilly, Vice President of Factory Effex, “but what
was really exciting for our brand was JGRMX’s desire to go beyond just
graphic kits. Coy Gibbs and Jeremy Albrecht (owner and team manager,
respectively) saw the added value to align themselves with a company
that is on the move, and with our recent growth and expansion into the
soft goods market in 2010, Factory Effex was the logical choice to
bridge the gap between normal team sponsors and one that can also add a
full range of officially licensed goods co-branded with the team.”
“To have an opportunity to work with a company like JGR on a global scale was simply impossible to turn away from” concluded Gilly, “we’re excited to say the least.”
“As a sponsor-driven team, graphics are very important to us and the access to designers and product quality Factory Effex offered made Factory Effex the logical choice for our team,” said Coy Gibbs.
“The graphics and seat cover product samples Factory Effex shared with us were extremely durable, and Gilly had 30 different possible art layouts for our 2013 bike graphics before we even had a formal agreement,” commented Jeremy Albrecht.
Look for a full range of spring release goods to be available through JGR as well as Global Factory Effex distribution centers as early as February 2013.

Marketplace Events and Italian Trade Commission Join Forces for American International Motorcycle Expo
Courtesy of Next Level Media
The new partnership positions the ITC as MPE’s sales agent to Italian powersports companies who market to America and seek to establish and strengthen essential connections by exhibiting at next October’s AIMExpo in Orlando, Fla. In turn, AIMExpo will showcase Italian products to the North American marketplace by working with ITC’s Los Angeles office to create an “Italian Pavilion” at the inaugural show.
“It makes every sense to announce our collaboration today at EICMA, as EICMA has very much been the inspiration for AIMExpo from day one,” said Larry Little, Vice President & General Manager of MPE’s Motorcycle Group. “The agreement with ITC to showcase AIMExpo to Italian industry is as exciting as the creation of the Italian Pavilion at AIMExpo to showcase Italian product to U.S. retailers and consumers. The American consumer has a clear appreciation for Italian design, evident in the style and beauty of Italian motorcycles and related gear which will be on full display at the Italian Pavilion.”
The ITC is the government agency that promotes the internationalization of Italian companies all over the world with offices in 80 countries and more that 1,000 events per year. Riccardo Maria Monti, Chairman of the Italian Trade Commission, commented on the partnership.
“ITC is becoming a brand new Government agency that helps create the conditions to develop and gain strong roots for Italian businesses across the globe. The key to doing so is in finding the proper platform where Italian companies can present themselves in the best possible conditions to the greatest concentration of potential customers, and AIMExpo in October 2013 is the perfect scenario for the Italian motorcycle industry. The agreement that has been signed with Marketplace Events, combined with the Italian Pavilion which is being organized by ITC in Los Angeles, will enable Italian companies to showcase their products in the most favorable sense.”

Pierpaolo Celeste, Italian Trade Commissioner, Milan office, added,
"the policy of the ITC with this agreement is to lay the foundation of
the presence of Italian companies in the most important market overseas
for size and number of customers. It is the first ever agreement of its
type done for the U.S. market.”
Carlo Angelo Bocchi, Italian Trade Commissioner, Los Angeles Office, helped facilitate the endeavor with Marketplace Events.
“In the aftermath of 2008, many Italian companies suffered with the decrease of the U.S. market, with 2009 reaching a modern-era historical minimum of exported Italian motorcycles and parts to America,” explained Bocchi. “Signs of recovery came slowly in 2010, and improved again in 2011. Motorcycle industry exports for 2012 are on track to be more than triple that of the low point, and moving forward, AIMExpo is perfectly timed to boost Italian motorcycle trade in the U.S. to even greater gains.”
EICMA, produced by Associazione Nazionale Ciclo Moto Accessori (ANCMA), is the premier motorcycle trade show in Europe and the only not-for-profit event of its kind in the world. For 2012, EICMA’s 70th event is expected to register the largest show in its history, dating back to 1914.
The EICMA template has driven the development of AIMExpo from its beginning stages, inspiring the vision that will lead to the launch of the first combined consumer, trade, and media powersports event in North America. It will bring the entire industry together in a celebration of motorcycling, the motorcycling and powersports industry, and the motorcycling lifestyle.
“America is a very important market for Italian companies, and we are looking forward to the fresh approach in North America of AIMExpo," said Pier Francesco Caliari, Managing Director of EICMA and ANCMA. “It is important for the growth of Italian industry to have a show in the USA that mirrors EICMA, and we look forward to a strong collaboration with AIMExpo as they create the ideal North American platform for the promotion of all things two-wheels.”
Mike Webster, President of MPE’s Trade Show Division commented, “many years ago, I worked with the ITC to create the first Italian Pavilion in America. It is rewarding to reunite with the ITC, especially now with Carlo Bocchi of the Los Angeles office, to work together to bring this tremendous exhibition of Italian artisanship back to America. We’re thrilled that the ITC and EICMA/ANCMA both view AIMExpo as their show of choice in North American for Italian industry. I am especially delighted to welcome the Italian Pavilion back to America!”
AIMExpo will be held on October 16-20, 2013 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Fla.
