ACERBIS Athletes Dominate Supercross and Offroad
The beginning to the 2014 racing season has been exciting
and eventful for ACERBIS and it's athletes. As the Monster Energy
Supercross Series goes past the half way point, ACERBIS athletes have
brought home 8 out of 10 450SX class wins and are holding down the top
three positions in the 450SX class points battle. Ryan Villopoto is
leading the way in 1st with Ryan Dungey and Ken Roczen in 2nd and 3rd
respectively.
Heading outdoors, Charlie Mullins started off his racing
season winning the opening round of the National Enduro Series and
currently sits 1st in the points chase. Mullins would also go on to win
the 1st round of the GNCC series and has the early points lead in that
championship as well. Kacy Martinez won the women's class at the opening
round of GNCC and now leads the women's points chase and Chris Borich
took the win and points lead in the ATVXC1 class. In the National Hare
& Hound series, ACERBIS athlete Ivan Ramirez started the season with
a solid 1st and a 2nd in the first two rounds which gives him the
points lead as the series heads to the 3rd round later this month. In
the WORCS series, Gary Sutherlin has won 2 out of 3 rounds and is in
the championship points lead.
ACERBIS athletes look poised to capture multiple red
plates as the season continues. We're excited to see how the rest of the
season unfolds for our athletes. We would like to wish all our athletes
the best of luck in their individual quests for the elusive
championship title.
