Brett Metcalfe and Team Dirt Candy have come to
terms on a deal for the 2015 Monster Energy Supercross season, the team
announced today. According to the release, Metcalfe, who hasn't raced
supercross since 2012, will join Ronnie Stewart and Robert Lind on the
team.
“I’ve raced the Monster Energy Cup on my own with some help from Dirt Candy Graphics. I feel like I've got a good long term plan with Dirt Candy and I look forward to focusing on racing and results," said Metcalfe in a statement.
Team Dirt Candy, in its second season, will race Suzukis prepared by Yoshimura. Metcalfe rode for Suzuki in 2011 and 2012. After Monster Energy Supercross, Metcalfe is headed back to Canada to race the Canadian Nationals for Monster Energy/Leading Edge Kawasaki. The Australian won the MX1 Canadian National Championship in 2013.
