AURORA, Ill. - Feld Motor Sports® announced today that DC Shoes, the official and exclusive footwear and title sponsor of the DC Shoes Defy Convention Last Chance Qualifier Race, will post a $10,000 bonus at each Monster Energy AMA Supercross, an FIM World Championship, race in 2015.

Entering their fifth year as a sponsor of the Monster Energy Supercross Championship, DC Shoes will pay any rider - in either the 250SX or 450SX Class -- $10,000 if they win DC Shoes Defy Convention Last Chance Qualifier Race then go on to win the Main Event. DC Shoes strives to reward riders that display a 'never say never' attitude, defying convention on how one would normally reach the Main Event.

"We're stoked to be back at Monster Energy Supercross this year with the DC Defy Convention LCQ Challenge," said Jeff Taylor, SVP of Global Brand and Marketing, DC Shoes. "There's nothing better than a come-from-behind win and this challenge gives race fans a whole new way to root for their favorite riders."

For more than 10 years DC has supported some of the sport's greatest names, including Jeff Emig, Jeremy McGrath and Ricky Carmichael, and DC's current moto team includes top riders like four time  Monster Energy Supercross Champion Ryan Villopoto and fan favorite Trey Canard. Fans can look for DC to have a strong on-site presence at the live events with a unique interactive brand experience in the pits that will highlight its elite supercross/motocross team and heritage in the sport.
Headlining the 2015 Monster Energy Supercross television package will be the first-ever live FOX network broadcast from MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J., on Saturday, April 25 at 3 p.m. EST. FOX Sports 1 will broadcast 12 races live and FOX Sports 2 will broadcast 3 races live. Each race will include a next-day re-air on FOX Sports 1.
