MORGANTOWN, W. Va. - In the spirit of Veterans Day, MX Sports Pro Racing and
the National Promoters Group (NPG), in partnership with the Veteran
Tickets Foundation, have announced that the initiative to provide free
admission for military veterans will return for the 2016 Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship, sanctioned by AMA Pro Racing. All available tickets will be made available through VetTix.org, a national non-profit, non-governmental 501c(3) tax- exempt organization.
A total of fifty tickets to each of the twelve rounds that make up the 2016 Nationals will be donated to Vet Tix and made available at no cost to both active duty, retired military veterans, and families of those KIA. Tickets to each round of the Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship will become available two weeks prior to its respective date on the schedule via VetTix.org.
"Lucas Oil Pro Motocross has been a huge supporter of Vet Tix and our military community for several years now. Attending these events provides an exhilarating atmosphere for our military families, which create countless memories that they previously would not have been able to experience," said Brandi Shannon, chief of community relations. "Vet Tix looks forward to partnering with Lucas Oil Pro Motocross again in continuing to thank our military across the country."
Vet Tix boasts partnerships with nearly all major sports leagues, including Major League Baseball, National Basketball Association, National Football League, and National Hockey League. Additionally, respected sports entertainment franchises World Wrestling Entertainment and Professional Bull Riders have also worked with Vet Tix to provide veterans and their families to opportunity to attend marquee events across the country for free.
Lucas Oil Pro Motocross was and remains one of the first prominent motorsports properties in the country to offer this one-of-a-kind service to all veterans of the armed services, and is proud to enter its fifth year of partnership with the Veteran Tickets Foundation.
