“Win a 450” Winner Frank Artusa Picks Up 2016 Suzuki RM-Z450 from Motorcycle Mall in New JerseyWinning Bike Made to Look Exactly Like Ken Roczen’s Championship-Winning Machine
Artusa, an East Rockaway, New York, resident made the short trip to Motorcycle Mall in Belleville, New Jersey, to pick up his Suzuki, which was made to replicate the RCH Soaring Eagle/Jimmy John’s/Suzuki Factory Racing machine of Ken Roczen, the 2016 Lucas Oil Pro Motocross 450 Class Champion. The graphics kit even featured a red number one plate to commemorate the German’s second title and RCH Racing’s first team championship.
“When I found out my name was selected for the ‘Win a 450’ raffle I was speechless. This was such a surprise and the opportunity to pick the 450 of my choice is just too good to be true,” exclaimed Artusa. “I love Suzuki and I’m a big fan of Ken Roczen, so to know my new RM-Z450 looks just like the champ’s is awesome. I can’t wait to take it to the track!”
In addition to the motorcycle, Artusa also received a Suzuki bike stand to complete the package.
“We’re thrilled to be a part of such a beneficial initiative to support the critical services provided by the Asterisk Mobile Medical Center” said Chris Wheeler, Motocross Support Manager for Suzuki Motor of America. "With their efforts, the sport of motocross and its competitors are as safe as possible and have all the necessary care they could ever need at the races. The fact that Mr. Artusa chose the Suzuki RM-Z450 as his bike of choice is even more exciting, and it’s a fitting way to celebrate Suzuki’s 2016 450 MX National Championship.”
The Asterisk Mobile Medical Unit is an emergency care facility available at each Lucas Oil Pro Motocross event to racers and crew at no cost. The full 53-foot hospital trailer is staffed with qualified and experienced medical personnel and offers specialized equipment for our sport's unique injuries. The Asterisk Mobile Medical Unit is provided to the racing community by Asterisk. Their operating budget is made possible by MX Sports Pro Racing, Road 2 Recovery Foundation, private donors and initiatives such as “Win a 450.”
