Scottsdale, AZ – After founding 11 years ago in the US, the Road 2 Recovery Foundation has taken the next step into helping licensed professional racers with financial assistance if they sustain career-ending injuries as well as providing motivational, emotional, and spiritual support to these individuals and their families. R2R has formed the Road 2 Recovery International foundation and will be expanding into Europe, adding FIM licensed professional MX1, MX2, and MX3 members to their support campaign. Board members of the foundation include longtime racers and supporters of the sport including Robert Moore, Roger DeCoster, Stefan Everts, Giuseppe Luongo, Roger Harvey, Michele Rinaldi, Eric Geboers, Paul Malin, Jamie Dobb, Jimmy Button, Chuck Baldwin, and Anita Button.

At round 5 of the FIM World Motocross Championship in Saint Jean d’Angely, France, Youthstream will make arrangements for Road 2 Recovery to introduce themselves to the International motocross community and their plans for the expansion into Europe. More details to follow.

Road 2 Recovery International is its own foundation with all monies collected and distributed separate from the U.S. Road 2 Recovery Foundation. To join the Road 2 Recovery International foundation, yearly membership is €25 per year and €35 for professional riders. All proceeds from the membership cards benefit the Rider Insurance Endowment.
