KTM is excited to announce the schedule for its KTM Amateur Racing Trackside Support Program for the upcoming summer months.
The schedule will kick off at the Mammoth Motocross event June 16-26, 2011 in Mammoth Lakes, CA. In addition to its trackside support trailer set-up to assist all KTM riders during the race week, KTM will also bring back its King of the Mountain foot race. Last year, riders of all ages raced (by foot) up the mountain for a chance to win great prizes. All participants must wear their riding boots while climbing the massive hill. Each participant will earn an event sticker for their participation while the top ten will receive prizes from KTM Orange Brigade sponsors: FMF, DC Shoes, Spy, Skull Candy, Thor and One Industries. For more details visit the KTM trackside support trailer at the event.
Following Mammoth, the KTM trackside support program will follow KTM Orange Brigade riders to the Red Bud Amateur Day in conjunction with the Red Bud AMA Pro Motocross Championship National before heading to Ponca City, OK.
Riders will see the full-semi set-up at the NMA Ponca City Grand National Championship at the end of July where the trackside support crew will be in full swing to aid all KTM riders in their goal to win a national championship.
After Ponca, the crew will head to Hurricane Mills, TN where they will help riders at the grand daddy of all amateur nationals – the Loretta Lynn’s AMA Amateur National Motocross Championship.
