General information:
A
two day opening of Finnish Supercross series 2014 will take place in
Helsinki, Finland on Friday 31st of January & Saturday 1st of
February 2014.
Helsinki Supercross is arranged as part of biggest
motorcycling Expo in Nordic countries. We are looking for a pro riders
from the US and also from Europe to participate in the event. The race
is open for both 450 and 250 riders. Riders need to have
Supercross experience and passport. The promoter of the race will
arrange the flights, transportation and accommodation for the chosen
riders from US and provide them with a bike and a mechanic for the race.
We are looking for riders having experience in Supercross, Arenacross
or MEC. Riders from Europe can get support with their travel expenses.
No start money.
Last year Jason Thomas ended his pro career here
by winning both nights. The event has moved to bigger venue for 2014 and
track will be bigger but still safe (no triples). We have previously
had US riders like Weston Peick, Nick Paluzzi, Matt Boni, Chris Plouffe,
Cole Siebler and Chris Gosselaar racing over here.
Video from last year:
The
promoter of Helsinki Supercross is aware that Anaheim III round of
Supercross is on same weekend, but hopefully some east cost 250 riders
and willing to come over and gain some international racing experience.
Location:
The race is held at the Helsinki Exhibition & Convention Centre.
Prize money for each night:
1. 1000€ (about US $1340)
