Bel-Ray sponsored racer and Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing rider Max Nagl finishes third overall during the fourth round of the 2016 FIM Motocross World Championship in Patagonia, Argentina on April 10.
Out of the starting gate in race one Nagl positioned himself in the lead by the first lap. He held strong to take the win and moved on to the next event. He experienced a small set back in the first corner in race two, however he was able to maneuver himself into fifth position, taking an overall third place finish. Nagl is currently sixth in championship point standings.
“Overall, it was a very good weekend for me. I had a really good first heat. I got a great start and managed to pass Tony pretty soon after the first few corners. I was feeling good so I tried to remain focused on my own race and it paid off. I built a gap of about seven seconds, which allowed me to race to the win. Everything was fine and my riding was really good. Then in the second heat I got a better start but was a bit late on the brakes for the first corner. I went a bit wide ending up sixth after the first corners.”
