Bel-Ray Racers Score Two Podium Finishes at Minneapolis Supercross
Courtesy of Bel-Ray
The 2013 Monster Energy Supercross series continued on Saturday night at the Metrodome in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Bel-Ray racers scored victories in three of the four heat races and were rewarded with two podium finishes in the evening’s main events.
Bel-Ray-backed Rockstar Energy racing’s Blake Wharton continued the momentum he gained from last week’s Houston Supercross victory to score a strong win in the first 250SX heat race of the night. He started the main event inside the top five and battled early on with his competitors before settling into a third-place finish and his fifth podium of the season.
Bel-Ray racers won both 450SX heat races of the evening, with RCH Racing’s Josh Hill scoring the victory in the first heat race and Rockstar Energy’s Davi Millsaps taking the victory in the second. Hill’s success was especially inspirational, as it marked his first heat race victory since recovering from multiple injuries suffered over the past two years.
The main event began with both Hill and Millsaps inside the top five. Millsaps quickly got by Hill and moved into third place, a position he would hold until the finish. Hill, meanwhile, continued inside the top five until the halfway point of the race. He slipped back to sixth and eventually finished in eighth place at the checkered flag. Hill’s RCH Racing teammate Broc Tickle began the main event in 15th and moved up as high as 12th place during the 20-lap main event. He eventually finished 13th by the time the checkered flag fell.

Bel-Ray® Works Thumper® Racing Full Synthetic Ester 4T Engine Oil is a 4-stroke synthetic motorcycle racing oil that has been developed for full works competition use and is designed to withstand extreme racing conditions. The series continues April 21st in Seattle, Washington for the Seattle Supercross.

eligible to compete in the 2014 Monster Energy AMA Supercross, an FIM
World Championship, season.
Since
the 2010 season, the ANAC has been run in conjunction with the dramatic

Bel-Ray Racer Tommy Searle Scores Top Ten Finish in Italy
The 2013 World Motocross series continued this weekend at the Arco di Trento track in Italy for the fourth round of the seventeen round series. The Bel-Ray supported Team CLS Kawasaki entered three racers in two separate classes during the event. In MX1 class, Englishman Tommy Searle finished 6th overall, while in the MX2 class, Italian Alessandro Lupino finished 10th overall and new-comer American Jimmy Decotis finished 31st overall in his grand prix debut.
Following his first moto 5th place, Searle was forced to come from the rear of the field following a collision early in the second moto. His charge through the pack resulted in a 6th place finish overall. “I’m pleased with my weekend; we continue to improve our results and I’m happy about that,” said Searle following the second moto.
Alessandro Lupino was looking forward to a top finish at his home track, but a series of unfortunate events kept him to a 10th overall finish. His finishes were a result of gritty determination following a first moto crash that resulted in a broken rib for the Italian racer. “I knew from the first practice session that my speed was OK here, and with a good start I could easily have achieved a top five result. I had a medical examination after the race and the doctors told me that the 4th rib is broken, so let’s hope that I can race next weekend.”
The newest member of the team, Jimmy Decotis, arrived from the United States with little time to prepare and struggled in his grand prix debut. His moto finishes resulted in a 31st place finish overall, but he is optimistic and believes that better races are ahead. “I knew that it wouldn’t be easy, coming here last week and racing for the first time on a European track. I had a good start in the first moto but crashed in the first lap when someone ran into me from behind. It was a tough race after that. In the second race, I was in the top fifteen but got cramps and struggled. I hate to retire, but that could be dangerous on this track. I know that the Bulgarian track will be different, and we’ll have one more week to work and prepare it with the team.”
Bel-Ray® Works Thumper® Racing Full Synthetic Ester 4T Engine Oil is one of the products chosen by the teams to keep their machines performing their best.

Swap Meet Announced For MX Rewind at Unadilla
Courtesy of MX Rewind
NEW BERLIN, NY – April 9, 2013- Unadilla is pleased to release information on the upcoming swap meet, taking place at the MX Rewind on June 14-16, and in between the racing and bench racing.
The swap meet is an excellent chance to clean out your garage, your hobby room, or your storage area and join in on the fun at MX Rewind. Vendors can set up a 10′x20′ spot for the entire weekend or any part thereof for $50 for the entire weekend, which includes all admission fees for up to two people. Spots are limited to be sure to contact nwmaicocz@yahoo.com or info@unadillamx.com to reserve your spot.
The swap Meet at MX Rewind is a great way to connect with fellow hobbyists who are looking for hard to find items, old memorabilia, parts that are no longer in the mainstream market, and hidden treasures. You don’t need a fancy set up — a tarp, table, or tail gate will suffice. Much like the racing at Rewind, the swap meet is not meant to be an exclusive area. Part of its charm is seeing the old stuff all in one place. So clean out your garage, basement, man cave, storage area and be a part of the fun!
The swap meet is only one feature at MX Rewind. Bike shows, vintage racing, formal and informal meet and greets with over fifteen motocross legends, autograph sessions, bench racing, MX Briefs industry seminars, nightly entertainment, and good times with old friends await racers and fans alike.
MX Rewind celebrates motocross and motocross history and keeping the traditions alive. Whether you have an old beater to race or not, if you love motocross and want to relive the good old days (or want to find out what you missed in the good old days!), this weekend is one you will not want to miss. So, mark your calendar for June 14-16 as the hills of Unadilla come alive with the sounds of all things vintage.
Event information, racing information, pre-entry links, and advance sale ticket information can be found at www.mxrewind.com . Further help is available by using info@unadillamx.com or calling 607/965-8450.

Bel-Ray Racer Wharton Wins Houston Supercross
Courtesy of Bel-Ray
FARMINGDALE, N.J. (April 8, 2013) -This weekend in Houston, Texas, the 2013 Monster Energy Supercross series returned to action following its one-week break. Bel-Ray racers Blake Wharton, Davi Millsaps, Josh Hill and Broc Tickle all scored top 10 results in their respective classes.
The top-performing racer for the weekend was Texas native Blake Wharton. After a third-place finish in his heat race, Wharton came out swinging for the main event. Racing with aggressiveness in front of his home state fans, Wharton passed early leader Marvin Musquin on the second lap and never looked back, taking his first victory of the season. The win was an emotional one as three generations of Whartons were on hand to see the win. “It’s nice to come back to Texas and see my family,” said Wharton. “This was the first race my grandpa has ever been to in his life. He had never been to one while my dad was racing, during my amateur career or since I have been racing professionally. It was cool to have three generations here. It was great to get the win in my home state, in front of my family and friends”
Wharton’s Bel-Ray-backed Rockstar Racing teammate Davi Millsaps continued his excellent 2013 racing season. His fifth-place finish in the main event was the 11thtime he was inside the top 5 at the checkered flag this season. With the result, he maintains second place in the series points standings.
Joining Millsaps inside the top 10 in the 450 Class were both Bel-Ray-supported RCH/Suzuki racers Josh Hill and Broc Tickle. Hill scored his best finish of 2013 with an eighth-place finish, while Tickle scored his sixth top 10 result of the season with a 10thplace finish.
Both Rockstar Racing and RCH Racing rely on Bel-Ray lubricants to protect their machines and provide maximum power and protection for vital components.
Bel-Ray Super Clean Chain Lube is one of the products chosen by the teams to keep their machines performing their best.
Bel-Ray® Super Clean Chain Lube is an aerosol chain lube that utilizes the latest innovation in chain lubricant technology, combining unsurpassed anti-wear protection for long chain and sprocket life with an outer protective coating that will not attract dirt, sand or grit and ABSOLUTELY WILL NOT FLING OFF when used as directed.
The Monster Energy Supercross Series continues April 13th at the Metrodome in Minneapolis, Minnesota for the Minneapolis Supercross.

Christini AWD Club Cash Program
Courtesy of Chrisitini
PHILADELPHIA, PA – April 5, 2013 – Christini AWD Motorcycles has announced a new rewards program being offered to members of motorcycle clubs around the country. How the CHRISTINI Club Cash program works is quite simple. Riding clubs will be rewarded $500 in check form when an active club member purchases a production Christini All Wheel Drive motorcycle factory direct.
Christini AWD chose to create a program like this to help support the motorcycle community, while also encouraging club riders to get on an All Wheel Drive bike. Clubs can put the money towards anything they want such as an event, a group dual sport ride, or the purse for a race. Once the bike has been built, shipped from the factory and delivered to the club member’s door, Christini AWD then sends a $500 check made out to the appropriate organization.
For club members already interested in a new bike, through the CHRISTINI Club Cash program the individual can give back to their club as well. For those not in a motorcycle club, Christini AWD has also launched an online accessory store where for every 10 dollars spent, the customer receives one dollar in CHRISTINI Cash towards their next accessory or bike purchase.
Specifications on 2013 production All Wheel Drive motorcycles can be found on www.christini.com. The Christini AWD accessory store can be found at www.store.christini.com.
About CHRISTINI AWD
CHRISTINI AWD is the leader in development and innovation of All Wheel Drive motorcycle technology. Christini’s patented mechanical All Wheel Drive system delivers power from the motorcycle transmission to the front wheel through a series of chains, shafts and one-way sprag clutches, allowing for improved performance on any terrain, including the street. Christini AWD has an international network of dealers and distributors, and in areas not served by its partners, bikes can be shipped directly to your door. For more information, go to www.christini.com or call 215-351-9895.
