Adding to the action, the show features the critically-acclaimed Shaolin Kung Fu Warriors defying their limits of courage through heart-wrenching martial arts performances with swift movements, extreme force and fierce concentration that test the sheer strength and agility of their bodies. These warriors will usetheir own bodies to bend metal rods, break objects in precise strikes and be lifted in the air on the points of handheld spears.
“We are taking Nuclear Cowboyz to a whole new level in 2014 for the tour’s fifth anniversary,” said Juliette Feld, producer and executive vice president, Feld Entertainment. “For the first time ever, the show will feature incredible acts of athleticism and bravery from the Shaolin Kung Fu Warriors alongside an award-winning cast of world’s most decorated freestyle athletes defying the laws of physics. Together, they are taking what’s humanly possible to the limit.”
Following a four-year hiatus, Nuclear Cowboyz welcomes back freestyle pioneer Jeremy “Twitch” Stenberg, a 10-time X Games medalist currently leading the ranks in the 2013 X Games Best Whip contest. Stenberg will be joined by Mike Mason, who has seven X Games medals, including two golds from 2013 Moto X Speed & Style competitions, four-time medalist Taka Higashino, who recently won X Games Moto X Freestyle, four-time X Games medalist Ronnie Faisst, eight-time X Games Step Up medalist Matt Buyten and Winter X Games gold medalist Colten Moore. These athletes will be riding alongside freestyle heavyweights Derek Garland, Jimmy Fitzpatrick, Nick Dunne, Brody Wilson, Marco Picado and more in an action-infused freestyle performance of pure danger and raw combat.
"I’m looking forward to returning to Nuclear Cowboyz in 2014 and teaming up with freestyle motocross' top athletes for this action-packed show," said Stenberg. Bel-Ray Racers Score Top 20 Results at Red Bud

Bel-Ray Racers Score Top 20 Results at Red Bud

FARMINGDALE, N.J. (July 8, 2013) ―The 4th of July holiday weekend means just one thing for United States motocross fans -- Red Bud. The famous track situated in Buchanan, Michigan has hosted an AMA National since 1974, and the hot humid mid-west weather typically lends itself to excellent racing. Bel-Ray racers would compete in both the 250MX and 450MX classes to mixed results.

250MX class racing was led by Bel-Ray-backed Rockstar Energy Racing’s Jason Anderson. The New Mexico native has been showing flashes of speed for several weeks now but unfortunately hasn’t found the podium in this highly competitive class. At Red Bud, Anderson qualified second overall in timed qualifying and was poised to make a run at the top spot. While running inside the top 10 early in the moto, Anderson came together with another racer, damaging the spokes on both his wheels. A pit stop was necessary to change both wheels, and the time lost put him behind the field, from where he could only manage a 34th place finish. The second moto was much better for Anderson, as he charged through the pack from an early position outside the top 15 to a respectable 6th place finish. He was credited with 13th overall and remains at 6th place in the points standings after 7 of 12 rounds. “My day was pretty good; well, kind of good. I ended up like 34-6 but by the 34th I was riding really good,” said Anderson following the second moto. “I just had bad luck and in the 6th I had a bad gate pick and was just working through the pack the whole time. So I ended up OK.”
Bel-Ray privateers, New Jersey’s Dakota Kessler and Pennsylvania’s Steve Roman, also had good finishes at Red Bud. Kessler’s 22-23 moto scores earned him 25th overall, while Roman’s 35-37 moto scores were good for 38th overall.
In 450 class racing action, Bel-Ray-backed Rockstar Energy Racing’s Ryan Sipes led the Bel-Ray racers' results. His 13th overall was a result of 12-14 moto scores. The results are not an indication of his speed, as Sipes is often one of the fastest racers on the track during the moto. Sipes spoke with some disappointment following the second moto. “It was a bad weekend; well, not awful. I’m healthy and everything. I’m just kind of struggling a little bit. I don’t know; I need to get my ducks in a row. I don’t wanna ride around in the back, so I’m looking forward to Washougal.”
Bel-Ray privateers also showed good finishes at Red Bud. Michigan’s Nick Wey has shown promise on his return to racing from a serious injury last season. His 17-16 moto finishes were good for 17th overall, followed by Colorado privateer Derek Anderson in 26th with 27-21 finishes and New Jersey’s Ronnie Stewart’s 25-24 for 27th overall.
All of Bel-Ray's professional racers rely on the performance advantages Bel-Ray's complete line of  lubricants provide. One of the products they choose is:
Bel-Ray® Works Thumper® Racing Full Synthetic Ester 4T Engine Oil is one of the products chosen by the teams to keep their machines performing their best.
Bel-Ray® Works Thumper® Racing Full Synthetic Ester 4T Engine Oil is a 4-stroke synthetic motorcycle racing oil that has been developed for full works competition use and is designed to withstand extreme racing conditions. Full synthetic ester base oils withstand the highest temperatures and stresses which provide the ultimate 4-stroke motorcycle oil.
The series will take a one-week break before returning to action in the Pacific Northwest at the Washougal National in Washougal, Washington on July 20th.

Tomac & Hahn signed for 2014 and beyond on 450′s

Courtesy of Geico Honda

CORONA, Calif. (July 5) – The GEICO Honda race team has a enviable reputation for developing young motocross riders into world champions, while also providing legends like Mike LaRocco and Kevin Windham a place to cement their legacies.
The 2014 season will a mark a significant transition in this established philosophy as GEICO Honda owners Rick Zielfelder, Jeff Majkrzak and Mike Grondahl expand their stable to include two 450cc riders, both of whom are being promoted from within theteamranks.
Starting with the 2014 Monster Energy AMA Supercross season-opener in Anaheim, Calif., champion 250cc riders Eli Tomac and Wil Hahn will move up to ride for GEICO Honda in the elite 450cc class.
Following in Trey Canard and Justin Barcia’s footsteps, Tomac will be the third GEICO Honda rider to reach the pinnacle of the sport after joining the team as a fresh-faced amateur. The Cortez, Colorado, native was in his early teens when he first caught the eye of Zielfelder. It’s been a partnership that’s produced dozens of race wins and the 2012 Supercross 250SX West title.
“As an amateur, GEICO Honda was a team you looked up to,” Tomac said. “They always had a great 250 team and legendary guys like Mike LaRocco and Kevin Windham on their 450. What we’re doing now is a step in a new direction. It’s going to be like a whole new program. To be one of the first guys to make it happen is really cool.”
After a breakout season in 2009, Hahn joined the team for the 2010 season. Unfortunately, in his first race with the team, he broke his back during practice and spent the bulk of the next two seasons recovering from various injuries. Despite the setbacks, Hahn’s presence became a valued one on the team and the group’s patience was rewarded this season when Hahn won two races on the way to the 250SX East title.
“I didn’t start with them as an amateur, but I feel like I have,” Hahn said. “I was around the team a lot when I was younger hanging out with my brother Tommy. I’ve always felt love from this team and I’m honored they asked me to ride the 450 for them.
“They stuck behind me during times when a lot of teams would have let me go. They saw something in me, they kept me on, and it paid off for both sides.”
Majkrzak said that expanding to two 450 riders is a big step but one the team has been working toward for a long time.
“We only wanted to expand to two 450 riders if we could do it the right way,” Majkrzak said. “We wanted to make sure our major partners — GEICO, Honda and AMSOIL — were ready and willing to go on this ride with us. The timing was perfect and we’re excited for the team’s future with Eli and Wil leading the way for our 250cc and amateur teams.”
Tomac and Hahn both said they’re excited to make the transition to the top class in familiar surroundings.
“Moving to a 450 is a big enough step as it is,” Tomac said. “I would imagine that the transition would be a lot harder if you’ve got to learn a new motorcycle and a new team. I won’t have to do that. I already know this inside and out. I’m excited to get started.”
Hahn echoed those thoughts, adding that success as a professional is as much about attitude as it is about parts and pieces.
“Riding for a factory 450 team is something you dream about as a kid,” Hahn said. “Everyone on the team has a constant drive and determination to want to win. Everyone works together for that goal.
“The great part of it is, everything is staying the same: familiar surroundings, same Factory Connection suspension, same engine guy, a Honda motorcycle and the family atmosphere. There’s a lot to be said for that.”
The Supercross world will get a preview of GEICO Honda’s new 450 duo when they take to the track at the Oct. 19 Monster Energy Cup at Sam Boyd Stadium in Las Vegas.
