MSR Amateur Athletes Excel at 2009 Loretta Lynn Amateur National Championships

Corona, CA -When the dust settled this year at the infamous Loretta Lynn Dude Ranch, MSR's amateur squad logged an impressive 11 overall podium finishes.  In addition, the MSR crew took home a remarkable 21 top ten overalls, solidifying the brand's position at the front of the amateur market.

Leading the championship charge was one of the newest MSR recruits, Alabama's Heath Harrison.  Harrison had to battle an extremely talented group of riders in the ever competitive 4 Stroke class and edged out his biggest competition for the title, by a mere one point.  Heath was also able to capture a 3rd overall in the 450 B Modified class, finishing just behind MSR standout athlete Bryce Vallee.

"I am extremely proud of Heath for keeping his composure and accomplishing such a tremendous feat, despite the extraordinary amount of pressure that comes along with leading motos on amateur racing's biggest stage." said MSR Rider Support Representative Charles Castloo.  "I would personally like to congratulate each and every one of the MSR riders that qualified for a starting position at the Ranch this August, it is truly an accomplishment in itself to make it to the event."

Other noteworthy performances were put in by Joey Savatgy, Austin Politelli, James Justice, Elizabeth Bash, Tommy Maxey, Chase Yentzer, Jeremy Hand and Gauge Keith.
