GNCC TV Returns to Versus This Sunday with
Florida ATV Action
Morgantown, W.Va (April 22, 2010) - RacerTV, covering the Can-Am Grand National Cross Country Series on television show for the past 10 years, returns this weekend with the first episode of the 2010 season, the Parts Unlimited River Ranch ATV race. The GNCC Series continues as America's only off-road series offering bike and ATV racing coverage on cable television, and this year, the show will return with a new time slot on Versus, which also returns to DirecTV.
"I'm really excited for the 2010 season of RacerTV on Versus," said Producer Jason Hooper. "We've got great time slots, awesome HD racing footage and to top it all off, Versus is back on DirecTV!"
Host Jason Weigandt returns for his seventh season of GNCC broadcasts. "I do a lot of motocross and supercross announcing, but I still love the GNCC Series," says Weigandt. "It's hard to catch all the action at the track as a fan, but the TV crew manages to get to the cool spots and show how tough these races can be. After you watch these shows, you'll want to go riding yourself."
Shows air each Sunday at 3:00 p.m. and Tuesday at 5:oo p.m. with a few exceptions throughout the season. The River Ranch ATV Premiere kicks off at 3:00 p.m. this Sunday, April 25, with a 30 minute episode on VERSUS. Watch as new GNCC ATV Champion Chris Borich battles stiff competition in Yamaha's Taylor Kiser and Can-Am's Adam McGill. The show will repeat on Tuesday, April 27, at 5:00 p.m. Go to www.gnccracing.com/pages/gncc-television for the full 2010 TV schedule.

About GNCC Racing
The Can-Am Grand National Cross Country Series is America's premier off-road racing series. Founded in 1979, the 13-round championship is produced exclusively by Racer Productions. Cross country racing is one of the most physically demanding sports in the world. The grueling three-hour GNCC races lead as many as 1,800 riders through tracks ranging in length from eight to 12 miles, competing for more than $3 million in prizes. With varied terrain, including hills, woods, mud, dirt, rocks and motocross sections, GNCC events are tests of both survival and speed. GNCC Television on Versus, now back on DirecTV, returns April 25.  For more information, please visit www.gnccracing.com.
