After winning the 250 B Stock class at the 2009 Loretta Lyn Amateur National Series Michael Leib has decided to forgo the 2010 amateur season and go pro full time. Consulting with his trainer, Nathan Ramsey, and considering the options Michael feels he is ready. His training program has been adjusted to get him ready for the 30 minute plus two lap motos. REM Saturday Motocross races for the month of April have 30 minute motos and Michael has been riding with Mike Alessi at his training facility and has proven he has the stamina.
“The speed is coming and my fitness is good. I am pumped to be done with amateur racing and look forward to proving to myself I can be a top runner in the 250 class. I want to thank American Honda for supporting my decision to forgo Loretta’s and pursue my dreams. Rocket Exhaust will continue to build my Honda motors and Factory Connection is 100% behind me in the suspension department. All my supporting product sponsors are behind me as well. My bikes are really good and I know the rest will be up to me” said Michael.
