Bel-Ray Racing-Weekend Racing Preview – March 2, 2012

The 2012 Monster Energy Supercross Series continues this Saturday night at the Edward Jones Dome in St. Louis, Missouri. Bel-Ray’s professional supercross teams will be competing in both the Supercross and Supercross Lites classes.

In the Supercross class, Josh Hansen and Kyle Partridge of the Dodge/Hart & Huntington/Sycuan Casino/Bel-Ray Racing team are looking to improve on their 15th and 17th place respective finishes in Atlanta. As a consistent top ten finisher this season, Hansen's upset last week will serve as his motivation for a stronger ride and a top finish this weekend. Partridge‘s 2012 season has been a series of ups and downs and after last week, he is hoping for an up finish Saturday night in St. Louis.

In the Supercross Lites class, Rockstar Energy Racing Suzuki's team for the East Coast Series consists of Blake Wharton and Hunter Hewitt. Wharton has been just off the podium in the first two rounds of the series with 4th place finishes at each round. Wharton is looking for a good start and consistent lap times in order to take the step up to a top three finish. Meanwhile, Hewitt has progressed each week, improving on his first round 12th place with an 8th place last weekend. Both riders are currently ranked in the top ten in the series standings.
