San Diego, CA - ONE Industries riders were once again out in force at round five of the Monster Energy Supercross Series at Anaheim, CA., on Saturday night.
Rockstar Energy/ Motosport.com’s Davi Millsaps finished second in the main event in front of a massive crowd at Angel Stadium. With his result and consistent podium finishes, Millsaps extends his points lead to 14 and will carry the leaders red number plate once again in San Diego this coming weekend. “I’m just pumped on how I’m riding, how my program is, how the bike is, how the team is, and just everything,” Millsaps commented after the race. “It’s a good feeling when everyone is behind you is pushing and pushing and pushing and supporting you through the ups and downs and still with me right now.”
After winning his heat race, JGR Yamaha’s Justin Brayton placed 10th in the 450SX Main after being taken out on lap one and remounting in last place. Millsaps’ Rockstar Energy teammate Jason Anderson fell early on in the race but charged through the field to finish 5th in 250 West while teammate Ryan Sipes was forced to sit out after having surgery to fix a broken hand. Brayton now moves into 9th place in 450 SX points while Anderson holds onto 5th place in 250 points going into next weekend.
