MAVTV/Lucas Oil/Farren Racing Riders Score Championships at 2013
Thor Winter Olympics
MAVTV/Lucas Oil/ Farren Racing riders captured twelve top ten finishes including five podiums and three championships at the just concluded 2013 Thor Winter Olympics in Gainesville Florida.
Hannah Hodges led the way with championships in the Girls and Women’s classes in Supercross and the Girls class in motocross competition. Not satisfied with winning against the girls, Hodges also finished a strong sixth place against the boys in Supermini 1. Hannah was also the recipient of the Asterisk Ironman/Sportsmanship award and is also a finalist for AMA Female Rider of the Year.
Matt Burkeen made his debut in the A/Prosport classes with a second place overall in 450 Pro Sport and top tens in four other classes. Bradley Esper scored a second in SX in the 450B Limited and backed it up with a top five in Schoolboy 2 in MX.
MAV TV/Lucas Oil/Farren Racing is an amateur motocross racing program designed to deliver unprecedented resources to select amateur racers. The team was founded by Phil Antonucci and Mike Maroney in late 2010. In 2011 Farren joined forces with PR2 Racing to further refine the program and help support amateur racers in their quest to become professional athletes in the sport of MX. 2013 saw the addition of MAV TV and Lucas Oil as title sponsors. Look for the
