HUNTERSVILLE, N.C. (Dec. 20, 2013) – N-FAB, the industry leader in
the production of quality Nerf-Bars, Pre-Runners and other off-road
accessories for trucks and SUVs joins the Toyota/Yamaha/JGRMX Team as
the official such provider for the 2014 racing season.
The partnership is a natural progression of a relationship that began
several years ago between Coy Gibbs, founder of JGRMX, and Thomas
Fichter, CEO of N-FAB. Fichter has been involved in numerous Toyota
vehicle projects, including display vehicles for Monster Energy AMA
Supercross. In 2009 after frequently talking with Fichter at the races,
Gibbs had N-FAB outfit his personal Tundra.
Most recently, the pair collaborated in building a moto themed custom
Toyota Tundra that won the annual Toyota Dream Build Challenge (www.toyota.com/dreambuilds).
“As a long-time sponsor of many supercross and motocross riders and
teams, JGRMX has always been where I wanted to be but has been out of my
league from a budget standpoint until now. I feel like I finally have a
home where we can continue to grow the N-FAB brand. It’s a milestone
for me to be able to be aligned with names like Joe Gibbs Racing,
Toyota, and Yamaha. I couldn’t be more excited,” said Fichter. “Thomas
and I have been friends for years, and have discussed a partnership
many times. After working so well together building the Tundra for the
Dream Build Challenge we decided to go ahead and make it official for
2014,” said Gibbs.
The custom Tundra jointly crafted by N-FAB and JGRMX will tour the
2014 Monster Energy AMA Supercross Championship Series and be on display
in the pits for fans to see beginning at the opening round on Jan. 4 at
Angel Stadium in Anaheim, Calif. To learn more about N-FAB and their
full line of off-road products visit www.n-fab.com.
