Press Release from Fox Racing
Nike 6.0 moto athlete Ryan Dungey is supporting LIVESTRONG and cancer awareness this weekend at the July 4th Motocross Nationals at RedBud.
Dungey was recently crowned 2009 AMA Supercross Champion in the Lites Category, and is pushing to secure a national motocross title and his third win of the season this weekend. As Lance will ride again at the Tour de France this month, Dungey, in collaboration with Fox Racing, has created a head-to-toe LIVESTRONG inspired uniform to help Lance to tell the Livestrong message and to raise global cancer awareness. Dungey’s yellow jersey will tie back to Lance and cycling and a custom embroidered Livestrong seat patch will provide visuals on his pants in honor of his childhood idol’s fight to find a cure. The Livestrong message of “Hope Rides Again” is scrolled across Dungey’s helmet.
"Lance Armstrong has always been a hero of mine. I have a lot of respect for his dedication, persistence, and his devotion to cancer awareness,” said Nike 6.0 Moto athlete, Ryan Dungey. “ I am honored to have the opportunity to support Livestrong and use my talents to help Lance spread his message of cancer awareness around the world to our loyal motocross community.”
