DMXS RAdio Tonight

Courtesy of DMXS Radio
Troy Lee Designs Honda’s Ben Townley is back in Florida preparing for the 2010 Lucas Oil AMA Pro Motocross Championship where the popular Kiwi will make his long awaited return to racing in the U.S. A series of injuries forced him to take some substantial time off to properly heal, and by all accounts he is ready for the fight, even rocking a mohawk and war paint. Ok, maybe just the mohawk, but he’s all business with Hangtown just ten days away. We’ll catch up with Ben tonight for an interview before he gets tired of our questions and hangs up us as he always seems to do.
In this sport, as in life, you must make the most of the opportunities given to you and Valli Motosports Yamaha’s Kyle Cunningham did just that in Vegas with an impressive fourth on a 450. The team decided to give Kyle a shot after Tedesco was out with an injury and the Texan made steady progress right up until his breakout ride in Sin City. Kyle is in Cali testing for outdoors, but we wanted to give him some props for a job well done.
Racer X’s Jason Weigandt saw every lap of every race this year so we thought it fitting to get his wrap-up on the season tonight through the eyes of the series broadcaster. Weege and his beautiful wife are also awaiting the birth of their first child so we will get an update on the “2010 Mini-Weege Watch” and how his midwife classes are going. He’s such a trooper to be in the delivery room with only a pair of goggles and a few tear-offs to depend on.
There are plenty of dirtbike fantasy leagues out there, but only one that you have an opportunity to win $50,000 playing. Pro Moto Fan is the premiere racing league for supercross and motocross and they offer great overall and weekly prizes in addition to the Decal Works $50,000 Perfect Card up for grabs. Jeff Hopkins will be on tonight to give us all the details on the league and how you can put all that bench racing knowledge to good use this season.
