Protecting and Supporting the Lives of Off-Road Riders.
Palmdale, CA - The Kurt Caselli Foundation, established
in 2013, is a 501(c)(3) non-profit formed with the mission to help
protect and support the lives of off-road riders. While there is always
an element of danger involved in off-road racing, The Kurt Caselli
Foundation, aims to minimize the danger to the best of its ability with a
three-part mission that encompasses safety precautions for riders
before, during and after a racing career.
1. Before racing, we are committed to
encouraging, developing, and standardizing safety precautions that will
help minimize risk outside of the rider's control.
2. During racing, we are committed to
developing, establishing, and encouraging the use of safety equipment
and policies to increase safety of the riders.
3. After racing, we are committed to
providing a safety net that allows and encourages former racers to
further their education and reach career goals for themselves and their
families.
The Kurt Caselli Foundation is proud to launch its official website www.kurtcaselli.com.
In addition, the foundation is launching its first initiative for the
2014 season by providing two pre-sweep trucks at this weekend’s SCORE
San Felipe 250 event. The trucks will pre-sweep through highly populated
spectator areas prior to the race to help clear any inherent danger.
