100% is
proud to kick off the new season with a barrage of returning MXGP
athletes heading into the 2016 FIM Motocross World Championship.
Gautier Paulin returns to 100% riding for Team HRC. Gautier was a MXGP winner in 2015 and capped his season off with a monumental win at the 2015 Motocross of Nations as a part of Team France.
Moving up to join Gautier in the premier class is Valentin Guillod aboard his Kemea Yamaha. Guillod showed title contending speed last year in the MX2 class winning multiple events, and he looks to continue that form to the MXGP class. Guillod’s Kemea Yamaha teammates, Benoit Paturel and Brent Van donink will compete in the MX2 class. Also returning with 100% is Suzuki World Racing team rider Jeremy Seewer, and Tommy Searle on the Monster Energy DRT Kawasaki. 100% will also support the Wilvo Standing Construct Yamaha team of Aleksandr Tonkov , Julien Lieber, and Alvin Östlund.
Exciting additions to the 100% stable of riders for 2016 include Glen Coldenhoff and Kevin Strijbos. Coldenhoff joins the multiple championship-winning RedBull KTM Factory Racing team in the MXGP Class. MXGP veteran Kevin Strijbos has also chosen to use and endorse 100% eyewear as he goes to battle for the 2016 world championship on his Team Suzuki World MXGP RMZ450.
Team rider Max Anstie, with four GP race wins in MX2, placed third in the 2015 MXGP MX2 championship. The young English star is a great addition to the 100% family, and is slated to make an impact in the 2016 season aboard his Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing machine.
Teammate Thomas Covington is coming off his sophomore year racing the MXGP series, and currently has one MX2 win under his belt from the 2015 MXGP of Leon. After earning 17th overall in 2014, and 12th overall last year, the Alabama native is more motivated than ever to move even further up the ranks. He is excited to represent 100% in 2016 and beyond.
Also joining the team will be Conrad Mewse, former 85cc World Champion and Vice World Champion, competing in EMX2.
