Pirelli to Support 2011 Red Bull AMA Loretta Lynn Amateur National Motocross Championship

Morgantown, W.Va. (July 28, 2011) - MX Sports is proud to welcome Pirelli Tire back as a supporter of the 2011 Red Bull AMA Amateur National Motocross Championship presented by AMSOIL.
Pirelli's trackside amateur support team will be on hand the entire week to offer technical support to all riders using Pirelli Scorpion MX tires. All competitors are invited to stop by Pirelli to learn more about the Scorpion MX family of tires. Scorpion MX tires have won 54 World Motocross Championships and Pirelli Tire has been winning races for 100 years.

The National Final will be held August 1-6 at the home of country music legend Loretta Lynn in Hurricane Mills, Tenn. In 2011, thirty-five champions will be crowned at what marks the 30^th Anniversary celebration of the greatest motocross vacation in the world - the Red Bull AMA Amateur National Motocross Championship presented by AMSOIL.

The Red Bull AMA Amateur National Motocross Championship is the world's largest and most prestigious amateur motocross racing program. The national qualifying program consists of 52 Area Qualifiers (February through May) and 12 Regional Championship (June) events hosted at select motocross facilities across the country. The qualifying system culminates in the National Final (first week of August) hosted annually at the home of country music star Loretta Lynn in Hurricane Mills, Tenn., since 1982. Nearly 25,000 racers attempt to qualify in 33 classes for the 1,400 available positions at the National.
