Racer X Illustrated Publishes 3D Issue
Ground-breaking issue now shipping to subscribers

Morgantown, WV – Filter Publications is excited to announce the release of its first-ever 3D issue of Racer X Illustrated. With support from Renthal, the September 2011 issue of Racer X features an up-front section of pages filled with one- and two-page photos in eye-popping 3D. Additionally, the Renthal ad on the back cover of the issue is in 3D. Each print issue comes with a free pair of Racer X/Renthal 3D glasses.
“When Renthal came to us with the idea of trying a 3D back cover in Racer X, we decided to take it even further by applying the treatment to some of our editorial photography as well,” said Racer X editorial director Davey Coombs. “We’ve been considering giving it a try anyway, but having a partner like Renthal made this the perfect opportunity to give our readers a unique look at American Motocross.”
