Fifth round added, online registration available 

PICKERINGTON, Ohio -- JT Racing, a brand with a long and proud history in motocross and off-road competition, has signed on as the presenting sponsor of the AMA Vintage Motocross and Hare Scrambles National Championship Series, presented by JT Racing. In addition, the series welcomes promoter Ballance MotoX in Oakland, Ky., which will host a new round on May 18-19.
“We are very pleased to be a part of the AMA Vintage Nationals,” said JT Racing Chief Operating Officer/VP Sales Darryl Atkins. “Everyone knows the history of JT Racing and how synonymous it was with the rise of motocross racing in America. As we continue to usher our brand back into the future of the sport, we feel it is equally important to keep our heritage intact by supporting the AMA in this series to help identify the importance and impact that early American motocross had on the evolution of the sport.”
In addition, Ballance MotoX is excited to join the series and play a part in crowning the 2013 AMA Vintage National Champions.
“Ballance MotoX Park is honored to be part of the 2013 AMA Vintage Motocross and Hare Scrambles National Championship Series, presented by JT Racing,” said promoter Katie Ballance. “My husband, John, and I have worked hard to create a facility that is worthy to host a national event of this caliber. We would like to thank the other series track promoters and the AMA for giving us this special opportunity.”
The AMA Vintage Motocross and Hare Scrambles National Championship Series, presented by JT Racing, kicks off on May 4-5 in Athens, Ohio. It concludes at AMA Vintage Motorcycle Days in Lexington, Ohio, on July 19-21. Each round will feature two days of racing: vintage hare scrambles and motocross competition on Saturdays and post-vintage hare scrambles and motocross on Sundays.
Pre-entry is $40 for each national championship class, while post entry is $50. Modern support classes also will run at each round. Entry is $30 for the modern support classes. The AMA Vintage Motocross and AMA Vintage Hare Scrambles National Championship Series, presented by JT Racing, joins the AMA Vintage Dirt Track National Championship Series, which is in its third year and also features a round at AMA Vintage Motorcycle Days. The AMA will continue to crown AMA Vintage National Trials champions based on competition at AMA Vintage Motorcycle Days.
