Munn Racing High Point Report

Elm Mott, Texas:  This weekend the Munn Racing KTM headed to High Point Raceway in Mt. Morris, Pennsylvania for the fourth round of the Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Series.
Although Mother Nature tried to saturate the track with heavy amounts of rain throughout the week the track workers did a great job and got the track in good condition for Saturday’s race.  The practices were muddy but the Munn Racing team and mechanics were able to keep the riders in a positive light coming into Saturday’s motos.  Vince Friese made his way through the muddy practice and was able to qualify 16th in practice in the 450 premier class.  Friese fought hard in both 450 motos and was able to score a 15th place finish overall on the day.

In the 250 class, Lance Vincent, Todd Krieg, Ozzy Barbaree, and Alex Nagy showed up ready to give it their best in the ever competitive  small bike class.  Todd Krieg and Lance Vincent fought their way through the mud and put their Munn Racing KTM powered by EBR Performance machines in the main motos.

In the WMX class Sara Petterson rode strong all day long.  Sara has been working very hard between rounds to prepare for the second round of the WMX Triple Crown Series.  Sara qualified fourth in timed qualifying.  Both motos Sara put on an exciting race against the fastest WMX riders in the world and she was able to come home with a fourth overall.  Sara will be heading to Blue Diamond Raceway with the Munn Racing KTM semi to race this weekend.  We would like to extend a thank you to Blue Diamond Raceway for the invitation and giving our rig a home for the off weekend.  Look for Sara at the final round of the WMX Triple Crown Series at Southwick.   Follow the team all season long on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram for all of the behind the scenes action.
