New Berlin, NY)- Returning for just
the second time, MX Rewind at Unadilla MX in New Berlin, NY kicks off
this weekend, June 14-16, 2013 for three days of off road fun. And most
importantly, if you have not yet committed to attend, there is still
time to make last minute plans.
All the popular historical classes, events and features of the
inaugural MX Rewind are returning -including AHRMA vintage and post
vintage cross-country and motocross racing, a long list of Unadilla
legends, a bigger and better swap meet, a very cool bike show, as well
as meet and greets, bench racing, and plenty of nightly entertainment.
Bikes as new as 1997 are eligible to race on the famed Unadilla Pro
Track. Check the rules on our website for more details - but the cutoff
date for racing is 1997, so all motorcycles built and sold as of the
1997 model year (and prior) are potentially eligible for competition.
You don't have to have a pristine vintage bike to become part of the
racing action. There are a lot of older bikes out there for sale that
will allow you to become part of the racing action as well!
Over fifteen former racing greats will be making their way to
Unadilla and will be at MX Rewind starting on Friday afternoon. Recent
additions to the legends roster include Barry Higgins, and Jack and John
Penton, who will both be involved in the cross-country awards ceremony
at the end of Friday's racing.
And for those who just want to step back in time and remember the
Good 'Ole Days, a full weekend of on and off the track activities await.
Spectator camping is available or racers and fans can choose from a
number of chain hotels in the area.
