Merritt Island FL, (January 17, 2017) – Engine
Ice Hi-Performance Coolant, the premier choice for Powersports coolant
and antifreeze, would like to congratulate Nick Schmidt of the Engine
Ice supported Sturm Racing team on his ADAC German Supercross
Championship.
Schmidt wrapped up the title on Saturday night with one night of racing still remaining by finishing second place to fellow American and title rival, Kyle Cunningham. His second-place finish enabled him to score enough points to mathematically win the championship. It is the first German Supercross Championship in Schmidt’s career. While in Germany, Schmidt competed for the Sturm Racing team, a long time supporter of motocross and supercross in Germany.
“It is a fantastic accomplishment for Nick and the Sturm Racing team”, said Engine Ice President Dave Kimmey. “In the tight confines of a supercross track with little airflow, engines can overheat and lose power very easily. Engine Ice eliminates that worry by keeping the engine cool and producing power,” he added.
In other weekend racing action, Jace Owen of the Engine Ice sponsored TiLUBE/Jack Links/TUF Racing Honda team showed the Arenacross crowd that last week’s dominating win was not a fluke by backing it up with another double win taking victories in both 250AX main events this weekend in Grand Rapids, MI. Owen is now 4 for 4 with Main Event wins in the young season.
In Supercross competition taking place at Petco Park in San Diego, CA, Davi Millsaps of the Engine Ice sponsored Rocky Mountain ATVMC-KTM-WPS racing team, scored a victory in his heat race and raced to a solid 8th place in the main event. Millsaps is 8th in the series standings after 2 rounds.
“Right out of the bottle” Engine Ice Hi-Performance Coolant is ready to provide dependable horsepower and is proven to reduce operating temperatures. They key to horsepower is not losing it and Engine Ice Hi-Performance Coolant is engineered to maintain optimum operating temperature and reduce power loss from excess heat.
Engine Ice Hi-Performance Coolant is biodegradable, phosphate free, non-toxic, and typically reduces operating race temperatures, effectively keeping boil-over temperatures to 256°F or less and freeze-up protection to -26° F. Factory or privateer, highly modified or stock, all machines benefit from using Engine Ice.
