Encinitas,
CA – World renown and
legendary hockey player Teemu Selanne has teamed up with TLD and Road 2
Recovery to announce exciting news for Hockey and moto fans alike. For two
days, starting this Friday, January 6th for every Jessy Nelson TLD
KTM 250 bike raffle ticket purchased you will be entered into an additional
raffle to win one of three autographed Teemu Selanne Anaheim Ducks hockey
pucks. The winners of the hockey pucks will be pulled at 5:30 PM PST on
Saturday the 7th at the Monster Energy Supercross Season opener at
Anaheim 1.
Teemu broke into the NHL by scoring 76 goals in his rookie season in
1992-93 earning him the still standing record for most goals by a rookie. He
was then awarded the Calder Memorial Trophy as the top first-year player in the
NHL. From there Teemu has created a very successful career with the Winnipeg
Jets and Anaheim Duck earning him the most liked player in the history of both
teams. He has scored 50 goals in a season three times and topped 100 points on
four separate occasions. Teemu played in 10 NHL All-Star games and won the
inaugural Maurice “Rocket” Richard Trophy in 1998-99 as the league’s leading
goal scorer. His Anaheim Duck jersey is the first and only to be hung from the
roof at the Honda Center.
Being a Supercross enthusiast and big fan of Jessy's, Teemu felt
compelled to help out. He will also be donating his autographed TLD Jersey and
helmet that he will wear at opening ceremonies at Monster Energy Supercross
Anaheim 1 along with an autographed Anaheim Duck’s Hockey jersey to be
auctioned off at a later date. More information on these items and the auction
will be announced soon. All proceeds will go to Jessy Nelson’s R2R cause.
To be entered into both drawings you can buy raffle tickets online at
R2RJN13TLD.com or live at Road 2
Recovery’s booth. Teemue and friends will be at R2R’s booth in the Party in the
Pits to pull the winner and sign some autographs at 5:30pm. You don’t need to
be present to win; R2R will ship the pucks to the winners. Puck raffle entries
will close at 5:00 PM PST. For more information on the Jessy Nelson style KTM 250 SX-F Factory Edition bike go to
