Foothill Ranch, CA (January 23, 2017) – Kawasaki Motors Corp., U.S.A. congratulates Jett Reynolds on winning the American Motorcyclist Association (AMA) 2016 Youth Racer of the Year for the second consecutive year. This award is presented to the most outstanding Youth racer amongst all AMA disciplines of racing, as voted by AMA Racing Staff and members. Reynolds joins Adam Cianciarulo as a member of Kawasaki Team Green to win the award and is the only rider to win the award more than once.
“This award exemplifies a youth racer’s accomplishments from the previous year,” said AMA Motocross Manager Kip Bigelow. “The recipient of this award showed that he or she is a serious competitor and is focused on being the best racer they can be. The award is presented to a youth racer under the age of 17 that has had many accomplishments over the previous year and proved that they were at the top of their class.”
“This award means a lot,” said Reynolds. “This year has been amazing to say the least and to top it off with this award feels great. To win it two years in a row is that much sweeter. I’d like to send a special thank you to all the people involved in my racing, my family and Kawasaki Team Green.”
