Vurbmoto to Join Exclusive List of Barn Pros Racing / Home Depot Yamaha 2016 Team Sponsors
ATLANTA, GA--(January 4, 2016) – Vurb Media LLC.,
exclusive owner of Vurbmoto, a preeminent online source for amateur and
professional motocross media, and recipient of the 2014 AMA Media Award,
today announced that it has entered into an exclusive marketing
partnership with Barn Pros Racing as well as joining the team as a 2016
sponsor.
As part of the agreement, Vurbmoto has been added to an
impressive list of existing high quality brand sponsors supporting the
team’s three rider contingent. Riders Scott Champion #76, Cole Martinez
#68 and Austin Politelli #87, will be competing in the heavily contested
2016 Monster Energy Supercross West Coast Series, kicking off January
9, 2016 at the expected to be a sold out Angel Stadium in Anaheim
California.
Vurbmoto
will add its name to existing sponsors Yamaha Racing, AXO, Viral Brand
Goggles, Ride Motorsports, Bills Pipes, Dasa Racing, Anderson Group,
Bell, Rekluse, Mad City Media, Fusion Graphix, VP Racing Fuels, Devol
Racing Equipment, Streamline Brakes and Controls, Gut’s Factory, Motion
Pro, Motostuff.com, TM Designworks, Moto Hose, Enzo, All Balls Racing,
Evans, and UFO Plast.
Jason Assad, Vurb Media’s newly named Chief Executive
Officer stated, “We are thrilled to be a part of the 2016 Barn Pros
Racing / Home Depot Yamaha team. What owner Steve Oslund and team
manager and former professional rider Scot Steffy have built in just two
short years is nothing short of impressive. In a sport that has become
big business over the years, Steve and Scot set out to create a highly
competitive team capable of going head to head with the top factory
efforts, but founded on a deeply rooted love for the sport itself, a
simple desire to go racing.”
Assad
continued, “Approximately eight years ago, Vurbmoto too was founded on a
similar vision. Our goal remains to provide our loyal audience with
highest quality motocross media and content, while providing measurable
return on investment for our advertisers. I firmly believe our
relationship with the Barn Pros Racing team will result in a furtherance
of those goals as it provides us a unique ability to provide our
audience with an exclusive “behind the scenes” look at the team, as well
as sharing the human interest element of what it takes for a rider to
compete in modern day Supercross.”
Scot Steffy, Barn Pros Racing / Home Depot Yamaha’s team
manager added, “The partnership with Vurbmoto for the 2016 season is
win win. Vurbmoto has a long-standing impeccable reputation as a high
quality media outlet within the industry. Their passion and drive very
much align with ours. Together, we feel that the real winner will be the
fans who will be given a very candid and open behind the scenes look at
what it takes to build a team from the ground up.”
