ROYAL DISTRIBUTING / FXR / YAMAHA
Richmond, Ontario (April 4, 2018)
MX101 is very pleased to announce that Royal Distributing is joining our team. Royal Distributing brings years of racing background and heritage, and it’s an honor to be partnered with Canada’s Powersports Leader.
The new team name will now be “Royal Distributing / FXR / Yamaha” and is coming to a podium near you. The team will be following the Rockstar Energy Triple Crown Series, and we again look to be a force to be reckoned with as the team houses 3 top 10 riders with Jess Pettis, Marco Cannella, and Hayden Halstead. The new look will begin next weekend in Canada with Marco as he continues to push for the top spot in the AX portion of the series in Sarnia ON. Jess will wave the flag high south of the border as he competes in AMA SX in Seattle WA in preparation for his Canadian debut this summer as the MX portion kicks off. Hayden is putting in the laps down south as his drive to become a regular top 5 rider is undeniable, for when he arrives in Calgary for Rd 1 in May.
Andy White from FXR stated, “It is great for Royal Distributing to get on board along with us and this program. We have seen the benefit over the past few years, and it is a perfect synergy with us all being under one tent.”
“With the new series and being part of that with the Royal Distributing Holeshot award, it makes perfect sense to garner more views with being a title sponsor of a top race team as well. The timing was right for our alignment with the defending MX2 championship team and we look forward to a successful partnership,” said John Mochrie of Royal Distributing.
“2018 just got even more exciting,” said Graeme Jones of Yamaha Motor Canada. “With three potent MX2 riders and a fantastic new title sponsor, it’s a fun time to be involved with the Royal Distributing/FXR/Yamaha team.”
