Silicone Detailer and Protectant Spray Specially Formulated for Powersports Equipment

New Bel-Ray Detailer Spray Provides Protective Coating; Restores Factory Finish;
Works on Multiple Surfaces; Reduces Maintenance/Clean-up Effort on Equipment

FARMINGDALE, N.J. (December 5, 2012) Powersports enthusiasts can now attain a protective, shine-enhancing coating on various equipment surfaces with the new Bel-Ray Silicone Detailer and Protectant Spray.
Safe to use on numerous surfaces ― plastic, fiberglass, chrome, metal, glass and rubber ― this spray, specially formulated for powersports, provides a water-resistant, protective film that enhances color and hides flaws, restoring that desired factory-finish look and sheen to machines. In addition, the durable coating will resist dirt and dust, making it easier and faster to keep equipment clean. Regular powersports cleaners can be used for easy wipe down, since the spray's unique finish thwarts dust and dirt from sticking to machines.
Distinct from other silicone sprays, Bel-Ray Silicone Detailer and Protectant Spray can be used on rubber surfaces and will protect them from drying out, making it a must-have product for mechanics preparing bikes for storage.
"Bel-Ray has long been recognized as a leader in the manufacture of premium quality, high-performance powersports lubricants," said Jennifer Liquori, Chief Operating Officer at Bel-Ray. "Now we can help powersports enthusiasts take care of their machines, both outside and inside, to get a shiny machine that performs better."

Jeff Ward Training Facility

Courtesy of Jeff Ward Training Facility

Perris, CA. – Jeff Ward has been in the motorsports industry since he moved to the United States at age three (3) and motocross has always been his highlight. Who better to start a motocross training school than Jeff. With his roots in motocross and having accrued 9 AMA Championships in Motocross, Supercross, and Supermoto, you can say he knows a lot to what goes into being a professional motocross racer. Not just on the track but off the track as well. The facility will be open to all skill levels, age, and gender of rider.
“I am very excited to start up the training school. I have always trained a few racers on the side for fun, so I figured why not make it a full school,” said Jeff. “I am doing this with the help of my son, Brandon. We have had the idea to do this for quite a while and he has devoted countless hours working on the website and planning out the whole future of the company.”

Right now the Jeff Ward Training Facility, or JW Training Facility, is still in the beginning stage and currently holding daily training sessions at local Southern California tracks for $150 a session. They are planning to expand in the very near future and be able to accommodate a place to stay for a week long (to multiple weeks long) camp as well as have a line up of bikes available to ride for those farther away planning on coming out and staying without having to haul their bike.

“We are currently working on improving our facility,” said Brandon Ward. “We are making updates to the house and hopefully building a gym soon or possibly partnering with a current gym. Being at the location we are at, it is great for cycling, mountain biking, and pretty much any off-track training you can think of. There will be a lot of improvements and additions to the facility as we progress.”
Their next session is Tuesday December 11, 2012 at Milestone MX Park in Riverside, Ca. With Christmas right around the corner, it would make a great present!

You can always contact them to set up a future date that isn’t listed on the site. You can log on to their website at or check them out on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter. There will be updates on the site soon including a calendar that has upcoming training sessions as well as a few other additions to the packages. Visit the website for more info on what is all included with a training session. If you have any further questions don’t hesitate to email them at

Monster Energy Ricky Carmichael Daytona Amateur Supercross Returns With Two-Day Racing Format

Courtesy of MX Sports

Monster Energy Ricky Carmichael Daytona Amateur Supercross
Returns With Two-Day Racing Format
Morgantown, W.Va. - MX Sports is pleased to announce the return of the 4th Annual Monster Energy Ricky Carmichael Daytona Amateur Supercross Championship (RCSX) to the legendary Daytona International Speedway. This prestigious amateur race will take place Sunday, March 10 and Monday, March 11, following Saturday's Daytona Supercross by Honda.
This year will once again feature two full-days of racing, offering amateur racers even more track time and class options throughout the weekend. Highlighted changes for 2013 include the addition of the Masters (50+) class and the splitting of the 450 C and 250 C classes into two age-appropriate categories: (14-21) and (22+).
"MX Sports put great consideration into revising the classes for 2013 in order to provide greater opportunities for our participants," said Event Director Tim Cotter. "Based off the high participation numbers in the past, our team made the decision to split the 450 C and 250 C classes into two categories in order to give racers more time on the track and an even greater opportunity to make the main event."
Amateur racers once again have the unprecedented opportunity to compete on one of the most prestigious motorsports grounds in the world only one day after the pros. Perhaps the most enticing factor of this event is that 15-Time Champion Ricky Carmichael will be on site all weekend long to converse with amateur racers and their families while offering up tips and advice.
"I'm excited to be back at my racing home-Daytona International Speedway-for another year of RCSX," said 15-Time Champion, Ricky Carmichael. "This event has really grown into something special and it's cool to be a part of such a great opportunity for amateur racers. I'm looking forward to watching some great amateur racing at Daytona."
The class structure includes classes for youth riders on 50cc bikes all the way up to vet and senior classes. The race will follow a supercross format, using heat races and last chance qualifiers to seed the field of riders into a main event in each class, over the course of two days. Unlike the Loretta Lynn Ranch format, riders do not need to qualify at other races in order to participate in the Daytona event. Because of the supercross format, please note that class entries are limited in order to give participants the utmost time on the race track.
Amateur riders and their families are encouraged to come down early and camp on the Daytona infield, where hookups are available. Move in, sign up and camping begin on Friday, March 8, so amateur families can watch the pros compete on Saturday night in the Daytona Supercross. Amateur racing takes place on Sunday, March 10 and Monday, March 11.
For more information on the event, please visit To register for the 2013 RCSX, click HERE.

N-Fab, TiLUBE, and Yamaha Join Forces for 2013

RIVERSIDE, Calif. (Nov 30, 2012) – With the 2013 race season fast approaching, three iconic brands have joined together to create what is sure to be a formidible presence on the start line and in the pits. N-Fab, TiLUBE, and Yamaha Racing headline the two-rider, 450-class team set to contest the hyper-competitive Supercross and Motocross series’. Preparations are already underway as the team readies themselves for the kick off of the 17-round Monster Energy AMA Supercross Series at Angel Stadium in Anaheim, Calif. on January 5, 2013.

Chris Blose (Phoenix) and Phillip Nicoletti (Bethel, New York) will pilot the revolutionary Yamaha YZ450F inside stadiums and across the American countryside as they look to make their mark on the 2013 season.

Beginning with the Sr. 50cc class at the 41st running of the Thor Winter National Olympics, presented by Pro Circuit at Gatorback Cycle Park (Fla.), Cobra’s King 50 – the bike that changed the course of minicycle racing here in the States nearly 20 years ago – was raced to championships in the SX class by California’s Jett Reynolds and in the MX class by Georgia’s Gage Linville. In addition, Virginia’s Nathan Merricks would race to a 1st place finish in the 50cc Open SX class, while Reynolds dazzled everybody with is speed & style in winning the 50cc Sr. MX Open class. And with that effort Reynolds was crowd this year’s 50cc Sr. Olympiad title winner!

“Jett had a spectacular weekend at Gatorback,” said Sean Hilbert, President of Cobra Moto. “He’s the real deal.”

Some other new names putting up solid numbers at the 41st Mini Os for Cobra Moto include: Tommy Leclere, Thomas Welch, Mason Naecker and Brock Bennett.

The little guys on the Cobra 50JR bikes were led by New York’s Nicholas Romano, who swept both the Mini Os’ SX and MX titles and was awarded the coveted Olympiad title in his division. Fans also got to see a number of Cobra racers move up from the Jr. division to race in the Sr. division. Those kids included: Ryder Di Francesco, Romano, Johnny Weber and Gregory Stewart.

Finally, in the 65cc division – where the new 2013 Cobra CX65 was getting rave reviews at the race – Cobra got an outstanding performance from local Floridian Tommy “TJ” Rios who placed 2nd overall in both the 10-11 65cc MX and SX divisions. Georgia’s Jeremy Seabolt also raced well in the SX Modified division, placing 5th overall.

“Tommy was easily our most improved racer of the year,” said Hilbert of the longtime Cobra rider Rios. “He rode brilliantly all week and everyone at Cobra wishes him the best of luck as he now moves up to the 85cc class.”

Up now for Cobra: This concludes the 2012 competition season for Cobra Moto. We look forward to seeing everyone in March for the opening of the 2013 amateur national MX season. Enjoy the holidays and hit the school books just as hard as your practice track!

Announcing Team Pro Circuit 2013

Courtesy of Pro Circuit

CORONA, Calif., – Monster Energy/Pro Circuit/Kawasaki is excited to both welcome back familiar faces and inject new blood into its legendary and championship-winning program.

Martin Davalos and Justin Hill will be the newest faces under the Monster Energy/Pro Circuit/Kawasaki tent in 2013, and will join Blake Baggett, Darryn Durham, Tyla Rattray and Dean Wilson in the hunt for the 2013 Monster Energy AMA Supercross and Lucas Oil AMA Pro Motocross Championships.

The Champ
Fresh off helping earn bronze for Team USA at the 2012 Motocross of Nations held in Belgium, Baggett brings the momentum of the 2012 Lucas Oil AMA Pro Motocross 250 Class Championship into the 2013 season. Baggett made history during the motocross season by holding on to the 250 class points lead for 11 consecutive rounds. He finished fourth in the 2012 Monster Energy Supercross Lites (now dubbed 250SX) East Championship and will enter his fourth season as a pro, making him an integral member of the Monster Energy/Pro Circuit/Kawasaki team.

The Joker
Darryn Durham will also be returning in 2013. The Pennsylvania native, who earned a career-first supercross win with Monster Energy/Pro Circuit/Kawasaki at the New Orleans round of the 2012 Monster Energy Supercross season, is excited to return with the team. Durham’s fun and outgoing personality is a great addition to the group and always brings excitement to the track.

“I’m excited to be part of the team,” said Durham. “Everyone works their butt off to win. I look forward to going racing again and trying to bring home a championship!”

The Veteran
Hailing from Ecuador, Martin Davalos is a new addition to the team, but brings with him the experience of competing in the 250 class. This may be his last year in the class, so he is focused on making this his best year to date.

“I’m pretty excited to be part of the team,” said Davalos. “This is a great opportunity for me, and probably my last chance in this class, so I have to make it count. I’m very thankful that I’ve been given the opportunity, and I’m looking forward to the start of the season.”

The Rookie
This will be Justin Hill’s very first year in the pro ranks. He is ready to move up to the big league after a successful amateur career that was molded by the legendary Monster Energy Kawasaki Team Green amateur motocross program. Hill’s goal of competing with the professionals has finally come to fruition, as he will make his pro debut in 2013 with Monster Energy/ Pro Circuit/ Kawasaki.
“I’m excited to be part of the winningest team in moto history,” said Hill. “I’m confident that I will learn a lot from everyone in my transition from amateur to professional.”

A New Dynasty
Monster Energy/Pro Circuit/Kawasaki is well known for its dominance in the 250 class, but 2012 marked a historical year for the team as they fielded their first 450 class rider. The team will continue its presence in the class with the return of Dean Wilson and Tyla Rattray in 2013. Wilson, the 2011 Lucas Oil AMA Pro Motocross 250 Class Champion, and Rattray have both seen success with the team, and are excited to be part of a new chapter in Monster Energy/Pro Circuit/Kawasaki’s legendary program. Both will compete in the 250SX class during the 2013 Monster Energy Supercross series, and will move up to the 450 class for the 2013 Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship series in the hopes of starting a new tradition of dominance to complement the team’s already illustrious history.

The Monster Energy/Pro Circuit/Kawasaki team will make its 2013 debut during the opening round of the 2013 Monster Energy Supercross Series, which will be held Saturday, January 5, at Angel Stadium in Anaheim, Calif.
