Tickets Now On Sale for Highly Anticipated 2016 AMSOIL Arenacross Season

Feld Motor Sports Unveils Brand New Championship Logo and Slogan
LAS VEGAS (October 16, 2015) – Feld Motor Sports® announced today that tickets for the 2016 AMSOIL Arenacross season are now on sale for what is expected to be one of the most intense seasons in AMSOIL Arenacross history. Additionally, a brand new championship logo and slogan were unveiled to the public as the next step in what has been unprecedented growth in the series.

Get your tickets at Arenacross.com to be a part of the 2016 AMSOIL Arenacross season that is poised to be one of the most intense in the history of the sport, as the series travels through a total of 13 different states while racing inside some of the country’s most prominent NCAA and NHL arenas. This highly anticipated championship battle comes on the heels of an incredible 2015 season that featured a fight for the title that came down to the final race in Las Vegas and packed venues at virtually every stop on the schedule.

The new logo and its accompanying slogan is the next step on what has been a progressive rebranding for AMSOIL Arenacross. Since establishing Ricky Carmichael’s Road to Supercross and introducing the “Race to the Championship” prior to the 2013 season, AMSOIL Arenacross has experienced tremendous growth both on and off the track. The changes to the competition have resulted in arguably the most dramatic and dynamic racing of all time, which was capped off by the most memorable championship battle in AMSOIL Arenacross history last season between Kyle Regal and Jacob Hayes. A season-long fight to earn the first professional title for either rider was ultimately captured in one single incident in Las Vegas, when the duo came together for what is no doubt one of AMSOIL Arenacross’ defining moments. A moment that has surely not been forgot by either rider and is destined to add intensity to every round of the 2016 season.

The simplified logo is straightforward and to the point, with a nod to the all-American colors of the title sponsor. To complement the logo, the slogan “Motocross, More Intense.TM” carries tremendous impact in just three words. There is no environment like AMSOIL Arenacross in all of motocross and only one word can succinctly describe everything that makes this the most exciting championship on the planet – intense.

“There’s so much intensity and focus necessary to win in this championship that you’re either going to make it or break it,” said Regal. “I’ve always wanted to be a champion and AMSOIL Arenacross forced me to dig really deep to finally get to where I’ve dreamed of being. All the pain and the suffering I’ve encountered along the way were worth it when I felt the sensation of relief and accomplishment in raising that trophy in Las Vegas.”

With the support of Ricky Carmichael and the Road to Supercross, as well as incredibly talented champions like Tyler Bowers and Regal, AMSOIL Arenacross has become the sport’s proving ground for riders with big dreams. The no-holds-barred, win-at-all-costs mentality that it takes to be successful on the man-made battlefields inside the country’s most well-known arenas results in hard-earned, exceptionally satisfying wins and even more fulfilling championships. To win in AMSOIL Arenacross a rider needs to be prepared for war, where he will face the intense ups and downs of battle, and a necessity to maintain the mental fortitude of a warrior that refuses to quit.

Don’t miss your chance to be a part of AMSOIL Arenacross – Motocross, More Intense.

The Italian brand Jett Boots has announced the signing of a two-year agreement with French rider Christophe Pourcel following a highly successful 2015 season. The two-year deal will see Pourcel continue his support of the brand by sporting Jett Boots in the U.S., and in addition, will create a Special Signature Series, developed in cooperation of the motocross world champion.

The first race under the new agreement will be the Monster Energy Cup, which takes place on October 17 in Las Vegas. To celebrate the occasion, the two-time Eastern Regional 250SX champion Pourcel will be sporting a special customized Jett Boot. At the same time, the full lineup of Jett Boots will be on display at AIMExpo from October 15-18.

Three New Sponsors For RCH Racing

Courtesy of RCH Racing

RCH Soaring Eagle/Jimmy John’s/Suzuki Factory Racing will debut three new sponsors when the team unloads and competes for $1 million in Saturday night’s Monster Energy Cup at Sam Boyd Stadium in Las Vegas.

Elite Team Offices, Chimera Golf Club at Tuscany and Draft Kings have all entered into agreements to support the team co-owned by Freestyle Motocross visionary Carey Hart and 15-time AMA champion Ricky Carmichael.

Elite Team Offices has signed a 10-race sponsorship that kick starts this weekend and also includes nine additional races on the 2016 schedule. The Clovis, Calif.-based organization specializes in commercial landscaping, construction and heavy equipment rental and will focus its marketing efforts at Supercross races in California, Nevada and Arizona.

“Racing has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember,” said Guy Stockbridge, CEO of Elite Team Offices. “Today, the passion for racing continues as Elite Team Offices partners with RCH Racing. I am eager to take what we’ve learned with our business-to-business relations as a former World of Outlaws Sprint Car team owner and use it as an active partner with RCH. I look forward to the endless possibilities with this partnership. I can’t wait to see what comes from Elite Team Offices teaming up with the exceptional organization that Carey Hart and Ricky Carmichael have created at RCH Racing. As a duo who knows the ingredients to success and the know how to win, we can accomplish great things together.”

Meanwhile, Chimera Golf Club at Tuscany and Draft Kings have signed agreements to support RCH’s effort this weekend at the Monster Energy Cup, as well.

The Chimera Golf Club at Tuscany, located just outside the Las Vegas city limits in Henderson, Nev., was designed in 2003 by Ted Robinson Jr. The natural terrain and unparalleled views of the Las Vegas Strip make Chimera Golf Club an incredible place to enjoy a round. RCH riders Ken Roczen and Broc Tickle will both tee it up and play 18 holes at Chimera on Thurs., Oct 15 as they prepare to race for $1 million Saturday night.

“We are very excited to have this opportunity to partner with RCH Racing,” said Tom Burke, President and Chief Executive Officer of Chimera Golf Club. “The course is in amazing shape and we are ready to host RCH Racing and fans.”

Additionally, Chimera will activate its partnership onsite at the Monster Energy Cup in the RCH pit area Saturday night. Attendees will have the chance to win promotional items and rounds of golf at Chimera.

Finally, RCH, Monster Energy Cup and Draft Kings partnered to give one randomly selected lucky winner the opportunity to win a once-in-a-lifetime trip to this year’s Monster Energy Cup. The winner and three guests won round-trip airfare and hotel accommodations, a VIP experience at the race and a new Suzuki RM-Z250. Players entered on Draft Kings by competing online against Tickle in fantasy football from September 27-28.

The Monster Energy Cup showcases the world’s top Supercross riders in a head to-head battle for the coveted Monster Energy Cup and the chance to win $1 million. Unlike any other race, the Monster Energy Cup challenges riders to compete in three, 10-lap main events on a unique track inspired by Carmichael.

“I’m really excited about this year’s track design and feel it is quite a bit different than any before it,” explained Carmichael who has played an integral role in the course design since the event’s inception in 2011. “The elevated start is going to be cool to see and I like that it is back inside the stadium for this year. I’m very pleased with the track, but just as much, I’m excited for the racing this year. There is a lot of heat showing up for this year’s race and I’m expecting to see some of the best racing action ever this time around.”

The 2015 edition of the Monster Energy Cup from Sam Boyd Stadium will be televised live on FOX Sports 2 Sat., October 17 beginning at 9:30 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time, 6:30 p.m. Pacific. The race will be rebroadcast Sun., October 18, leading in and out of NFL programming (depending on the specific television markets – check local listings) on the FOX Broadcast Channel, offering fans 90-minutes of Monster Energy Cup action from Saturday’s race.

2016 Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship Schedule

Courtesy of MX Sports

MORGANTOWN, W. Va. (October 5, 2015) – Following a captivating 2015 season in which Red Bull KTM’s Ryan Dungey and Yamalube/Star Racing Yamaha’s Jeremy Martin emerged as Champions in the 450 and 250 Classes, respectively, MX Sports Pro Racing and NBC Sports have unveiled the 2016 Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship, sanctioned by AMA Pro Racing, schedule.

The world’s most prestigious championship will once again consist of 12 rounds of competition in its 44th season, composed of 24 motos that will take the star-studded field of international riders to 11 different states, including the highly anticipated return of the Southwick National in Southwick, Mass., for the first time since the 2013 season.

"When we made the decision to leave Southwick at the conclusion of the 2013 season there was always a belief that we would return there in the near future. We are proud to say that the time has come to bring the championship back to ‘the sandbox,’ filling a void many fans and members of the industry have felt the last three years," said MX Sports Pro Racing President Davey Coombs. "We are excited to return to the passionate fans in New England and showcase one of the most beloved and unique venues of the Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship."

The 2016 season will open with back-to-back rounds in California, once again kicking off with the iconic Hangtown Motocross Classic just outside the state capital of Sacramento on May 21. The oldest round of the championship has served as the season opener for nine of the past 12 seasons and surprisingly is the only track in the championship at which defending champion Dungey has never won. From there, the series will travel south to the heart of the motocross racing community in Southern California with its annual visit to Glen Helen Raceway in San Bernardino on May 28 over Memorial Day Weekend.

The championship will make one more stop in the western portion of the country at Colorado’s picturesque Thunder Valley MX Park just outside Denver on June 3 before heading east for the heart of the 2016 season. Following the first off weekend of the summer, Mount Morris, Pennsylvania’s High Point Raceway (June 18) will start a six-week stretch that will take the world’s best riders to Muddy Creek Raceway in Blountville, Tennessee (June 25), Buchanan, Michigan’s RedBud MX for Independence Day (July 2), the sands of Southwick MX Park (July 9), Spring Creek MX Park in Millville, Minnesota (July 16), and Washougal, Washington’s Washougal MX Park (July 23).
Following a final two-week break in action, the stretch run of the 2016 season will span across three consecutive weekends, beginning at the hallowed grounds of Unadilla MX in New Berlin, New York, on August 13. Southern Maryland’s Budds Creek MX Park, in the shadow of the nation’s capital of Washington D.C., will host the penultimate round of the championship on August 20 before a pair of champions are crowned at Lucas Oil Pro Motocross’ newest venue of Ironman Raceway in Crawfordsville, Indiana, on August 27.

“The 2016 championship schedule consists of the most renowned facilities in all of American motocross and fittingly comes to an end at the sport’s newest track that is quickly making a name for itself after just two seasons,” added Coombs. “It was a year to remember for Ryan Dungey and Jeremy Martin in 2015, but they will need to fend off an exceptionally talented field of challengers at the country’s finest race tracks if they hope to make even more history and defend their titles. It’s sure to be an incredible season of motocross.”

2016 Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship Schedule

May 21 Hangtown Motocross Classic Prairie City SVRA, Sacramento, California
May 28 Glen Helen National Glen Helen Raceway, San Bernardino, Califronia
June 4 Thunder Valley National Thunder Valley MX Park, Lakewood, Colorado
June 18 High Point National High Point Raceway, Mt. Morris, Pennsylvania
June 25 Tennessee National Muddy Creek Raceway, Blountville, Tennessee
July 2 RedBud National RedBud MX, Buchanan, Michigan
July 9 Southwick National Southwick MX Park, Southwick, Massachusetts
July 16 Spring Creek National Spring Creek MX Park, Millville, Minnesota
July 23 Washougal National Washougal MX Park, Washougal, Washington
August 13 Unadilla National Unadilla MX, New Berlin, New York
August 20 Budds Creek National Budds Creek MX Park, Mechanicsville, Maryland
