Rockwell Time Race Report: Dallas

SALT LAKE CITY, UT (March 22, 2010) Rockwell Time’s newest athlete, Justin Barcia, had a strong showing this past weekend under the lights of the new Cowboys Stadium in Dallas Texas. After qualifying a strong second behind Stroupe in the first Lites heat race, Justin was unfortunately tangled up in the first turn disaster of the Lites main event. Barcia battled back to the front of the pack and finished on the podium with a third place; impressive when you consider Justin had no front brake for a good portion of the race. Justin now sits third in points, just twenty points behind Stroupe. Rockwell’s other Lites rider, Jake Moss, unfortunately collided with Troy Adams on the second lap of the Lites main and, after not being able to finish, was awarded an 18th place finish.
After winning the first Supercross heat race, Rockwell Team rider Davi Millsaps grabbed a great start in the main and after the first lap, was running third behind Dungey and Hill. After passing Hill on lap four, Davi held on to second for the remainder of the race, holding off a hard charging Canard. Davi currently sits 4th in points. Rockwell Team riders Chris Blose and Ryan Clarke also found their way into the Supercross main event and finished 14th and 17th respectively.
