CORONA, Calif. (June 15, 2011)- This week, many amateur riders from across the country will kick off their summer season at the annual Monster Energy Mammoth Motocross from legendary Mammoth Mountain in Mammoth Lakes, Calif. Founded in 1968, the Mammoth Motocross continues to be the longest-running amateur national with over 40 classes of competition and 3,500 entries. While the Monster Energy/Pro Circuit/Kawasaki professional motocross team heads to the east coast, Pro Circuit’s amateur lineup will invade the Sierra Nevada’s in pursuit of the coveted, hand-carved Mammoth Motocross trophy.
As the Mammoth Motocross embarks on its 43rd year of racing, the widely-popular event continues to draw athletes from around the world. The on-track action takes place from Thursday, June 16, through Sunday, June 26. Only open to the motocross community just once a year, the mountain will play host to the many stars of the Pro Circuit family for the next 11 days.
Pro Circuit’s presence in Mammoth will be felt both on and off the track, thanks to the elite Amateur Support Unit. This mobile garage provides everything a rider could need, and as an official sponsor of this year’s Monster Energy Mammoth Motocross, the Amateur Support Unit will offer assistance to all competitors throughout the event. Whether it’s technical support or product installation, the Amateur Support Unit will be there to take care of every rider’s needs.
Such dedication to providing the best products and support for motocross athletes across the globe has made Pro Circuit a global leader in the motorcycle industry. For the next 11 days, all competitors at the Monster Energy Mammoth Motocross will have the opportunity to experience the expertise of this world-class powerhouse.
