Corona, CA- Race Tech is proud to announce a partnership with the Rockwell/FirePoliceMX Racing team for the 2012 AMA Supercross series.  Riders Bruce Rutherford, Killy Rusk, and Jason Potter will run Race Tech Gold Valves and HP Springs; along with Race Tech’s new valving settings and Ultra Slick Suspension Fluid to get the performance they need to compete at the front of the pack for the 2012 AMA Supercross Lites West Coast series.

Rutherford and Rusk return to the Race Tech team, and Race Tech is excited to welcome Jason Potter to their rider support program.  In 2011, Bruce Rutherford was the stand out privateer in the west coast Supercross Lites series taking multiple top 10 finishes.  KillyRusk continues to gain speed and experience; having a solid team backing to go with a bike setup he is comfortable with will help him reach his full potential this season.  Jason Potter looks to put his name back on the map after a severe wrist injury kept him sidelined throughout the whole 2011 season.

"Race Tech has been a huge part of our Fire & Police Motocross amateur program for over 22 years and we are really excited to be working together for the 2012 Supercross season. I look forward to continuing our great relationship at the professional level," stated Ed Wilson, the team manager for Rockwell/FirePoliceMX Racing.

“Partnering with the Rockwell/FirePoliceMX team is a great opportunity for Race Tech to continue to support a couple of riders who we have built a relationship with in the past.  Bruce and Killy have both done a great job on and off the track promoting our products. Adding Jason Potter to our team of support riders has the Race Tech crew excited.  Jason shows a solid work ethic and an ability to commit and attack the track that can’t be taught.  We hope the 2012 Supercross season is only the start to a longstanding relationship with Jason, as well as the Rockwell/FirePoliceMX team.  Working with top caliber riders and teams like the Rockwell/Fire Police MX squad allows us to continue testing and developing our products to ensure we are always delivering the best suspension possible to our consumers,” said Race Tech’s Director of Marketing, Chris Riesenberg.
