Renegade Race Fuel Oakland Race Report

    Renegade Racing Fuels would come into Oakland with momentum in the lites class as Tomac would look to repeat his winning ways and stand on the top step of the podium again. In the Supercross class Renegade Racing Fuels would see 5 riders advance on to the main event as the top 20 riders at Oakland. Renegade Racing Fuels Powersports Director, Mark Ticen, stated "the 2012 season could possibly go down in the books as one of the best years of racing. I know that many of us have said it before, this year the classes are stacked, but you can watch a race this season and see great battles going on throughout the entire field. This season the classes are so competitive that you see common names from years past going to the LCQ or not making the main events. For a lot of riders, they are putting in a ton of hard work and a great effort just to make the main and they can be proud to say they were one of the top 20 riders on that day."

    Renegade Racing Fuels would field 5 riders in the main event of the Supercross class with the top Renegade finisher being none other than "KDUB" Kevin Windham. Behind Windham would be Renegade racing Fuel riders, Brett Metcalfe, Weston Peick, Robbie Kiniry and Ben Lemay.

    In the Lites class Renegade would again stand on the top step of the Lites podium with Eli Tomac and the 3rd step with Zach Osborne. Not only would Renegade take 2 of the top 3 positions but they would also secure 12 of the top 20 positions in the main event. Renegade Racing Fuels R&D Director, Josh Pitts, stated " We put a ton of time into testing fuels with many of the top teams and riders. This time and the extreme hard work of the teams and riders has shown with many holeshots and podium finishes so far in 2012. We take great pride in the fact that the top teams and riders rely on the same fuel that is in daily production in our own facility and is available to the general public." Renegade's, Mark Ticen, went on to say "that it is a great testimonial that each of these teams and riders have several options when it comes to fuel for their racing demands. Teams and riders at this level demand to use what they feel offers the best performance gains along with the best stability and longevity for the engines."
