Encintas, CA — In a bold step toward increasing traction in the North American market, Italian premium motorcycle boot maker TCX Boots has inked a multi-year sponsorship deal with Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing. Team rider Mitchell Harrison, aboard the #30 Husqvarna FC250 debuted the all-new TCX COMP EVO 2 Michelin® on January 6 as the 2018 Monster Energy Supercross Season kicked off at Angel Stadium of Anaheim.
“I’m really liking my new COMP EVO 2 boots—the fit, the comfort and the look,” Harrison said. “The Michelin MX Hybrid soles are amazing the way they can take a beating but don’t get chewed up, yet they still give a lot of feel.”
“All of us at TCX Boots are proud for this opportunity to join forces and work with the Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing team,” TCX US Business Development Manager Tex Mawby said. “Throughout the world, TCX is a dominant force in motorcycle sport and this collaboration give us a valuable proving ground for our unique technology and product development.”
Also enjoying the new boots are Harrison’s Rockstar Husqvarna Energy Husqvarna Factory racing teammates Michael Mosiman and Jordan Bailey. Mosiman and his #64 Husqvarna FC 250 will go to work in the 250SX East championship and Bailey will contest the arenacross series aboard his #133 Husqvarna FC 250.
“We had heard a lot of good things about the TCX brand, so once Mitchell, Michael, and Jordan had a chance to test their new COMP EVO 2 MICHELIN, it was clear to all of us that we needed to look no further than TCX,” team manager Bobby Hewitt said. “Just like Husqvarna Motorcycles, TCX puts a lot of integrity into their product line and I’m very happy to have them on board with us.”
