Ryan Blizzard to Compete in British Supercross Championships

blizzardRyan Blizzard will be making his UK debut when he travels to England to compete in all four rounds of the British Supercross Championships stating at Birmingham’s NEC on November 28th.  The first two rounds of the series are part of the 10 day, Carol Nash International Motorcycle and Scooter Show. The series breaks for the holidays and then continues in Liverpool on January 23rd and will conclude in London on January 30th.Ryan will be competing in the SX1 and SX2 classes for Team Meredith Suzuki.
Nigel Meredith, owner of Meredith MX, as well as team manager for Team Meredith Suzuki, will supply Ryan with a RM-Z 250 and a RM-Z 450 to compete in the UK’s Premiere Supercross Championship Series.  Nigel is no stranger to the industry, being in business over 25 years and the Suzuki dealer of the year in 2008 and 2009, Nigel has been known to sponsor top Brit riders like Stuart Flockhard and Jordan Rose in past seasons. He looks forward to the having the young American as part of his team for this seasons Supercross.
Ryan is scheduled to travel to the UK later this month to do some testing and get acclimated to his new team, the bikes and the riding conditions he will face.  The young rider out of New York is looking forward to getting off to a good start by ending 2009 and beginning 2010 with some great results.  With the opportunity to compete among the UK’s finest riders and a solid team behind him, Ryan is looking to make a name for himself outside the United States and possibly compete in the UK full time in 2010.
