MORGANTOWN, W.V. (April 8, 2010) - With just over two months remaining until the start of the 2010 Lucas Oil AMA Pro Motocross Championship, MX Sports Pro Racing announces that general admission tickets for each round of the upcoming season are now available for purchase at the series website www.allisports.com.
The 2010 season will commence on Saturday, May 22, 2010, with the Rockstar Energy Hangtown Motocross Classic just outside Sacramento, Calif., and will travel throughout the United States over the course of the summer, hosting races in 10 different states before concluding Labor Day weekend from Steel City in Delmont, Pa.
Reigning 450 Class champion Chad Reed will lead the way aboard his new Monster Energy Kawasaki while challengers and 2009 race winners Ryan Villopoto, Mike Alessi, Ivan Tedesco, Josh Grant and Tommy Hahn, along with premier class rookie and defending 250 Class champion Ryan Dungey make their bid for the most prestigious motocross title on the planet. Additionally, 2009 runner-up Christophe Pourcel leads a stacked field of young talent in the 250 Class all looking to make a name at the top level of the sport.
The MotorcycleUSA.com Women's Motocross (WMX) Championship will be showcased at eight of the 12 rounds in 2010, led by reigning back-to-back champion Ashley Fiolek.
