On what was undoubtedly one of the most brutally demanding supercross tracks ever built, Troy Lee Designs / Lucas Oil / Honda rider Wil Hahn gritted out a second place finish and moved himself to second in the series standings. His teammate, Cole Seely, toughed out a seventh place finish despite a poor start.

Lining up for the main event it was clear that Hahn meant business. His lap times were good and he knew he was prepared to ride at 100% for the entire fifteen laps. The Young rider from Texas was third coming around the first turn but ran into the back of Trey Canard when he fell in turn two. The mishap dropped him to fifth where he would begin an impressive charge towards the front. By the time he moved into second the leader was already several seconds ahead and the margin was too much for Wil to close. Although he wants a win baldly, Hahn rode well and he was proud of that.

"Man, I really felt like tonight was my night to win," He said after the race. Adding, "I know it's coming... I've been working way too hard not to win one of these. I can't take anything away from (Broc) Tickle though; he rode great tonight. He was flying out there. Next week we'll just get back to work and see if we can get a win in Salt Lake City."

Seely was mired in the pack and lost all of his tear-offs early, forcing him to remove his goggles. The race became about survival for him after that point. Cole would soldier on to a seventh but he was visibly disappointed with the way his night went.

"That definitely wasn't how I wanted the night to go," Cole explained. "All night I just felt tight and like I was fighting the bike. When I reached up on the second lap of the main to pull a tear off and I grabbed all of them, I knew I was in trouble. I tried wiping them as long as I could but I couldn't see a thing. I had to throw them and it made it tough to get close to anyone after that. I need to have a good race next weekend to bounce back from this."

The team will now head to Utah for the final round of the west region series. Wil has a five point lead over Canard and he is nineteen points down on Jake Weimer. It is a long shot to win the title but crazier things have happened.

After winning the 250 B Stock class at the 2009 Loretta Lyn Amateur National Series Michael Leib has decided to forgo the 2010 amateur season and go pro full time. Consulting with his trainer, Nathan Ramsey, and considering the options Michael feels he is ready. His training program has been adjusted to get him ready for the 30 minute plus two lap motos. REM Saturday Motocross races for the month of April have 30 minute motos and Michael has been riding with Mike Alessi at his training facility and has proven he has the stamina.

“The speed is coming and my fitness is good. I am pumped to be done with amateur racing and look forward to proving to myself I can be a top runner in the 250 class. I want to thank American Honda for supporting my decision to forgo Loretta’s and pursue my dreams. Phil Nicoletti to Fill in for Tommy Searle

Murrieta, CA – Top performing West Lites Supercross privateer Phil Nicoletti will temporarily fill in for FMF/KTM Factory rider Tommy Searle at the remaining three Supercross rounds

After injuring his shoulder at the beginning of the year, Searle has sat out most of the Supercross season. Once healed during the break in the Lites Series, he began training for the outdoor nationals. “Now that Tommy is on the outdoor bike and after nearly two months training outdoors we decided it would be best to let him make a clean return at the outdoors and give Phil a chance to ride a Factory bike,” reported FMF/KTM Team Manager Casey Lytle. “Phil’s results on his own KTM bike have been quite impressive this season and we would really like to see if we can help him break into the top five.”

If this story sounds familiar, you would be right. The FMF/KTM Factory Team also gave the same opportunity to PJ Larsen at the beginning of the SX season when Searle was originally hurt. Larsen performed well and ended up with a 5th place performance on the bike after only two weeks before heading down under to contest the Australian Motocross National Championship.

Like Larsen, Nicoletti was left without a ride at the beginning of the year and is grateful for the opportunity to ride the remainder of the season on the FMF/KTM Factory bike. “It is amazing to get recognized by a factory team and be given a chance to ride and perform on the best equipment out there. Team GPF/Babbitt's Online Season Wrap Up

It's been a season to remember for Team GPF/Babbitt's Online. After Team GPF rider Dano Aulseybrook wrapped up the AX Lites east title in Dayton, Ohio the series headed west to Denver, CO for the final round of the series and the finish of the Lites west championship.

AJ Catanzaro came into Denver with a comfortable 20 point lead in the Lites west and only needed a consistant weekend to secure the title. AJ did just that on friday night in Denver riding a smart and smooth race coming home in 2nd place. With 2nd place in points, Cory Green, getting hurt during qualifying and not racing the main event AJ was able to wrap up AX Lites west championship for Team GPF.

On Saturday night in Denver the team made the decision to put AJ on the 450 and get his feet wet with the big boys of Arenacross. Unfortunately it didn't go so well for AJ. After logging some fast qualifying times in practice AJ got off the line badly in his heat race and then went down hard on the first lap in the rhythm section. AJ was bruised up but toughed it out and rode the LCQ but was unable ride like himself and failed to make the main event.

In the end Team GPF did exactly what we set out to do in the 2010 AX series and that was to win the LItes east and west titles. Can't thank our riders, AJ Catanzaro and Dano Aulseybrook, enough for all the hard work they put in this season. They put in the hard work and deserved it.

Honda Riders First and Third in Toronto

orrance CA: The Honda Red Riders took on round 10 of the 2010 Supercross series in Toronto, Canada on Saturday, March 13, and Honda Red Bull Racing’s Davi Millsaps and Trey Canard made the trek across the border to battle the Supercross competition aboard their Honda CRF450Rs.

Canard successfully made it three podium finishes in a row in Toronto after grabbing the holeshot and racing to the lead on the opening lap. Challenged up front by Dungey and Villopoto in the early stages of the race, Canard found his rhythm to maintain third place from the sixth lap onward. Teammate Davi Millsaps was in sixth position on the opening lap and began picking off riders, but then he crashed out of the race on lap 15 while chasing his teammate Canard down for the podium spot. GEICO Powersports Honda’s Kevin Windham put in a solid performance after getting a mid-pack start to finish in fifth spot.

“I’m really happy with the way I raced in Toronto,” said Canard. “The past few weeks have been a real whirlwind; all the traveling, testing and getting used to the bigger bike. But I feel really good about the way things have gone and I’m proud of how I’ve raced. Having the opportunity to fill in for Andrew while he’s out injured couldn’t have come at a better time for me. I’ve been racing 250s for a while now, so having the opportunity to step up and not only test but also race the 450 is something I am very grateful for. The CRF450R has the speed and power to be up front and I know with more time on the bike I’d be able to stick with the leaders for longer and be in the hunt for the number one spot.”

In the Supercross Lites East competition, GEICO Powersports Honda’s Justin Barcia claimed his first Supercross Lites victory in his debut professional season. The 17-year-old rookie was fastest out of the gate, grabbing the holeshot and building a solid lead out front. Overcoming a close call with a tuff block that had the potential to spoil his lead as well as an off-track excursion late in the race, Barcia held on to lead all 15 laps on his GEICO Powersports Honda CRF250R. Teammate Brett Metcalfe worked hard to make up ground after getting a mid-pack start and he finished in sixth place.

“My day didn’t start out that great in Toronto and I had a few issues to deal with in practice,” said Barcia. “But I talked with my team and got my head in the right place before heading into my heat race. I finished second in the heat and went into the main feeling really confident. I got the holeshot in the main and I knew that the race was mine to lose from there. I knew I had the speed to win—I have all season—I just needed to ride a smart race and keep a level head throughout. Winning my first-ever Supercross race is an awesome feeling. I’m so grateful to my family and the GEICO Powersports Honda team for getting me this far. It’s been a long time coming and I couldn’t have made it without them.”

MORGANTOWN, W.V. - With the 2010 Lucas Oil AMA Pro Motocross Championship just over three months away, MX Sports Pro Racing wanted to check in with a few of the stars of the outdoor nationals and get their thoughts on the upcoming season.

For 2010, the 12-race Lucas Oil AMA Pro Motocross Championship schedule has been revamped, kicking-off on May 22 from the Hangtown Motocross Classic in Rancho Cordova, Calif., rather than Glen Helen Raceway in San Bernardino, Calif., which will commence the following weekend. Additionally, the Budds Creek National takes its new spot in the middle of the season for round five on June 19.

Spokane, Wash. (February 22, 2010) – The first round of the Monster Energy AMA 250 East Supercross Series and the seventh round of the 450 Supercross class was this past weekend in Indianapolis, IN. A new level of excitement was injected into the series as a solid group of returning veterans was mixed with an exciting new batch of rookies. One of those veterans, Ryan Sipes, made the statement that he is here to contend for the title.

After qualifying third in practice, Sipes went out and posted a solid second place finish in heat number two, just three seconds behind defending East Champion Christophe Pourcel. MotoConcepts racing again placed both of their 250 riders in the main as teammate Vince Friese finished eighth in heat race one.

In the 250 main, both Sipes and Friese came around the slippery first corner clean with Sipes in fifth and Friese in tenth. Friese went on to tangle with another rider and after picking himself back up he managed to finish 17th overall for the night. The Missouri native will head to Atlanta next week looking to get back into the top ten.

The Kentucky native Sipes began his charge toward the front and moved into third place for the second half of the main. Everything looked positive for Sipes to grab a podium spot until the last couple turns of the final lap, were lapped riders dramatically slowed his progress and allowed the rookie Justin Barcia to pass. It was a frustrating conclusion to the main, but overall a positive start to the season for Sipes.

“It was great to see all four of our riders again advance to their respective main events and there was a lot of excitement in our pits after Ryan finished second in his heat,” commented Team Manager Michael Young. “Having the podium spot swiped out with literally fifty yards to go stung, but we know Ryan will be back and is determined to get on the box.”

In the 450 class, both Dan Reardon and Kyle Chisholm advanced to the main, with Chisholm fifth and Reardon eighth, in heat race two. Reardon hit the deck halfway through the main and called it a night to finish 19th. Chisholm battled with a difficult one-line track and managed to finish 14th overall. After seven rounds, Chisholm sits in 11th for the series and is only nine points away from ninth overall, held by an injured Andrew Short. Both riders will be back for round eight next Saturday night in Atlanta, looking to get back into the top ten.

ANAHEIM TOUGH FOR ROCKSTAR ENERGY SUZUKI

Rockstar Energy Suzuki hit Angel Stadium once again for the third Anaheim round of the AMA/FIM Supercross Series, hopeful of being back to racing at full strength with Ryan Morais rejoining team mate Hunter Hewitt in the Lites class and Tommy Hahn taking on the competition in the Supercross class.

But fate seemed to have other plans as Hahn fell ill the night before the race with a bad case of the flu, and Morais found himself still in great pain on Saturday from the injuries he sustained during his heat race at Anaheim 2.

With two of his team mates out for the night, the spotlight fell on Hewitt (pictured) in the Lites class: He was running a respectable sixth in the Main Event until another rider collided with him while turning onto the starting straight and knocked him over. “You have to watch your back when you’re running up front and that’s something I just wasn’t doing,” said Hewitt. “I was pretty mad about it, but that’s just part of racing and I did my best to keep going.”

The collision and resulting crash left Hewitt towards the back of the pack with his clutch lever bent out of position, but he continued to press on despite the damage and even without the use of his clutch, he managed to retake a few positions by the end of the race, placing 13th overall.

With the final Anaheim round finished, the series moves east for the first time to Indianapolis. Indy also marks the beginning of the Eastern Regional Lites Championship, which will bring in a whole new crop of Lites riders including Rockstar Energy Suzuki’s Blake Baggett and Jake Moss. “Things are going to be very competitive in the East,”

Team Manager Bill Keefe said. “There are a lot of fast riders out there, but Blake and Jake have put in a lot of hard work and we expect great things from them.”

Rockstar Energy Suzuki rider Ryan Morais is preparing for his return to racing in the Western Regional Lites class at this Saturday’s AMA/ FIM Supercross sixth round at Anaheim, California.

Morais had to take some time away from racing after a crash in his heat race at Anaheim 2 resulted in several injuries, including some deep bruising to his kidneys, lungs and the surrounding muscle fibres. After participating in an aggressive rehab program for the past two weeks, he is fit enough to train with the team again and remounted his RM-Z250 this week to get in some solid laps on the practice track.

“Ryan’s times were very good, and he looked comfortable on the bike; like he’d never taken any time off,” said Team Manager Bill Keefe. “We are excited that he is up to speed and ready to race at Anaheim 3.”

Kyle Chisholm Joins MotoConcepts Racing

Spokane, Wash. (January 29, 2010) – MotoConcepts Racing is excited to announce the addition of Kyle Chisholm to their race team.  Kyle will fill in for injured riders Matt Goerke and Dan Reardon in the 450 class.  Goerke broke his tibia and fibula in late December and is currently recovering in Florida.  His expected return has not yet been established. Reardon is currently week to week after a scary looking crash at Anaheim One. 

Chisholm, who was riding for Rock River Yamaha, was released by team owner Mike Duclos, allowing him to join the MotoConcepts squad. 

“I had a number of conversations with Mike at Rock River and want to thank him for his professionalism and flexibility during the process of getting Kyle to our program,” stated MotoConcepts Team Owner Mike Genova.   “I also want to thank Fox Racing Shox who spent a lot of time and energy getting things race ready for Kyle and their understanding as we make this move.  We are excited about Kyle’s potential and thank everyone who was involved.” 

Chisholm will make his MotoConcepts debut this Saturday in San Francisco.

Ricky Carmichael University Releases Curriculum

(Tallahassee Florida) January 26, 2010 - Ricky Carmichael University, otherwise known as "RCU" is pleased to announce the school format and curriculum. RCU, which is the first school of its kind, is being held at Daytona International Speedway on Monday, March 8, 2010.
After an early morning check in, the school starts out with a breakfast, where all the participants will meet Ricky and his crew of decorated instructors. Riders will then suit up and go through an individual riding analysis, with each student assigned to an instructor. Following that, students will first work on proper body positioning, while utilizing the organized drills that RC himself used to help hone his skills. Drills will focus on flat turns, rhythm sections and improved braking techniques.
"I have spent quite a bit of time trying to put together the most important pieces of what I have learned through all my years of racing," said Carmichael. "This program is really cool, and I can't wait to personally run and discuss the braking and cornering drills, which I think is one of the easiest places on the track to make up time. I will be suited and riding, and won't hesitate to run some of them myself."
Participants can expect to work with the close knit members of Ricky's team, which has become known as "Camp Carmichael" over the years. The final line up of all-star instructors will be announced in the coming weeks, but participants can expect additional coaches with credentials validated by national championships.

AMA Arenacross Baltimore Preview

Babbitt's Monster Energy Kawasaki pilot Tyler Bowers flew to victory during Saturday night at the Grand Rapids round last weekend.

The 2010 AMA Arenacross Series season started with a bang last weekend inside Van Andel Arena in Grand Rapids, Mich. as arguably the most talented field in the history of the sport began a three-month battle for supremacy. Over the course of two nights of action, four different winners claimed the first place trophy in both the AMA Arenacross and AMA Arenacross Lites classes.

A pair of familiar faces stood atop the podium in the premier AMA Arenacross class as two-time series champion Chad Johnson and young phenom Tyler Bowers grabbed the Friday and Saturday night victories, respectively. Each rider is a member of the preseason favorite Babbitt’s Monster Energy/Ti Lube Kawasaki team and have an early jump on the championship battle as they sit 1-2 in the points with Bowers leading the way by two.

In the first round of the AMA Arenacross Lites Eastern Regional championship, reigning Central Region champion and title favorite Kurt McCabe cruised to an impressive night one victory while rookie Taylor Futrell broke through for his first career win in just his second start. McCabe leads the way in the standings by five points.

The lineup of teams and riders for the 2010 AMA Arenacross Series is a who’s who of the sport. Names like Bowers, Johnson, Josh Demuth, Brock Sellards, Kelly Smith, Kevin Johnson, Robbie Reynard, Jeff Gibson litter the standings while new faces like Colton Facciotti and Ezra Lusk make their foray into the series.

With such a strong lineup, the 2010 season has the potential to showcase the most parity in the history of the sport. Minus the pair of riders making their dull-time debut in the AMA Arenacross Series, each of the aforementioned names are past winners as are young, up and coming riders like Nathan Skaggs and Gray Davenport.

“This is going to be an exciting season for sure,” said AMA Arenacross Series Director Jayme Dalsing. “Despite a tough economy, we have an incredibly strong group of riders who really want to race arenacross and have that chance to capture a national title. With a sport as unpredictable as this and a lineup as strong as we have, it’s anyone’sguess as to how things will turn out.”

In recent years, two teams have slowly risen to the top of the heap in the premier class and have definitely set the bench mark for all other competitors. The Babbitt’s team has won championships in the past and continuously fields the top riders in the series. However, Tuf Honda has served as an antagonist to the Kawasaki team, winning the last three series titles with three different riders. The budding rivalry has the potential to come to a head this season as each team is fielding a trio of highly talented and hugely successful riders.

Joining Johnson and Bowers at Babbitt’s is two-time champion Josh Demuth, arguably the biggest name in the sport of arenacross. The team drew first blood at the Des Moines prequel in November by finishing 1-2-3 and continued to build momentum by sweeping its hometown race last weekend. Tuf Honda brings back defending series champion Jeff Gibson for 2010 while also enlisting the efforts of Brock Sellards, a perennial championship runner-up on the verge of breaking through, and supercross legend Ezra Lusk, who will join the series after recovering from injury.

“Fans are in store for some epic racing with two of the sports most historic teams,” stated Miss Arenacross Lindsey Scheltema. “Tuf has had everyone’s number the last three years no matter who they put on the bike. Now, Babbitt’s is pulling out all the stops in order to break the streak. And there is no way you can count out teams like Spinechillers and Jackson Performance KTM who boast riders that are just as talented and hungry to win.”

No matter what happens. It’s going to be a memorable year.

This weekend, the intimate and exciting action of the AMA Arenacross Series will be showcased at 1st Mariner Arena, the largest indoor sports and entertainment facility in Baltimore. Opened in 1962, it served as the Civic Center before becoming the Baltimore Arena, which was the official title until 1st Mariner Bank garnered sponsorship rights in 2003.

There are 11,000 permanent seats inside the arena, but as many as 14,000 can be in attendance when using its spacious floor, which will be covered with tons of dirt and over 100 of the most competitive arenacross riders in the world this weekend.

The first gates drop on the Baltimore Arenacross Friday, January 15 beginning at 7:30 p.m. The action continues Saturday night from 1st Mariner Arena at 7:30 p.m. for night two, followed by Amateur Day on Sunday, beginning at 10 a.m.

Reigning Supercross Lites and AMA 250cc Motocross class champion Ryan Dungey raced to second place in his first Supercross Main event at Saturday's 2010 Monster Energy AMA/ FIM season opener at Anaheim Stadium in California.

The Rockstar Makita Yoshimura rider took a close second place to winner James Stewart aboard the RM-Z450 Suzuki in front of almost 44,000 spectators at Angel Stadium.

Dungey had the second-fastest lap time in practice and remained consistent throughout practice and qualifying. At the drop of the gate for the Main, Dungey and his fuel-injected RM-Z450 shot out of the gate and grabbed the holeshot. He continued to put distance between himself and Stewart, who was in second place, leading for an astounding 17 laps amidst the roar of the crowd who stood and cheered the entire 19-minute race. As lappers began to factor into the race, Dungey gave up the lead to Stewart but didn't give up the race: He battled the final three laps, nearly overtaking Stewart on the last lap. At the wave of the chequered flag, Dungey took the second spot on the podium.

"I'm really happy with Ryan's finish" Team Manager Roger DeCoster said after the race. "I think for his first season on the 450, it's awesome. He did really, really well. I mean, when you look at third place was half a lap back, the whole team is really happy. I had a good feeling we'd be on the podium before the race, but the way he did it was even better than I expected. You can see Ryan did not luck into that position today; he rode solidly, like a veteran."

"Tonight was fun," Dungey said, surrounded by a crowd of fans outside the Rockstar Makita Suzuki race rig. "I came in second, but I can't be mad. I worked really hard this off-season to make sure that I would be up front, because that's where I want to be. I was able to get some really good, clean laps out front and I think that was very valuable."

"Right off the start I had instant power," Dungey said of his holeshot. "I have never launched out of the gate like that before, and it stayed on and kept powering. The Rockstar Makita Suzuki bike did a really great job tonight, EFI, suspension, the whole team helped me make the bike work great and I'm glad we could put it on the podium." As for knowing the reigning Supercross champion was behind him, Dungey said, "I knew he was behind me from the beginning. I could hear him, I know what his bike sounds like, but I was just trying to ride my race."

Austin Stroupe also made his Supercross debut on Saturday night. The 19 year old is set to compete in the Supercross Lites East series, but due to an injury to team mate Matt Moss, Stroupe will race the first few rounds of the 450 class. Stroupe grabbed the holeshot in the second qualifier, ahead of James Stewart. In the Main Event Stroupe completed four laps before succumbing to a mistake that took him out of the race.

"It's too bad that Austin and Chad Reed bumped, but it showed that Austin can do well on a 450," DeCoster said. "It's his first race, and in his first qualifier he got fourth and the holeshot, which is really good."

"Getting the holeshot in the qualifier, that was definitely the highlight of the night for me," said Stroupe. "I didn't know what to believe. I didn't know if I was in a different world or what! I prayed on the line for a good start, because I just wanted to get qualified for the Main, and then I got the holeshot and I heard the fans cheering."

Though Stroupe won't be competing in the entire 450 class series, he knows that this experience will help him in his battle for the Lites East Championship. After the race, Stroupe reflected on the lesson he could take from his shortened debut. "I learned tonight that I just have to be on my game all the time. Every guy out there is blistering fast, but I think the switch to Rockstar Makita Suzuki has been nothing but great for me and I'm comfortable here."

Watching the race was team mate Matt Moss. The Australian will wait a few more weeks before making his Supercross debut, but he's already mentally preparing for his first race. "I feel good on a 450, and as long as I'm 100 per cent I think I can go out there and do well. I don't want to go out there half hearted, I want to go out there and give it my all. I want to show them what I've got."

"That race was amazing," Moss said after the return of his team mates from the track. "It was great to watch Dungey. He went from a 250 championship to battling the best in the world. He pretty much dominated for 17 laps. This only my second time being at the AMA Supercross races, and when you watch it on TV you dream of watching a battle like that, and to see it unfold in person was amazing."

A Suzuki RM-Z250 was also on the podium Saturday night as Team Rockstar Energy Suzuki, Presented by Canidae's Ryan Morais took the third spot in the Supercross Lites West Series.

Hot Sauce finished 2009 strongly by claiming his first victory in the Lucas Oil Motocross Championships where he completed the season in third overall. He looks to carry that momentum into 2010 aboard his Yamaha YZ450F for the Valli Motorsports Yamaha team.

The Rockstar Makita Suzuki Supercross team is prepped and ready to compete at Anaheim 1, the first round of the 2010 Monster Energy AMA/ FIM World Supercross Championship, this weekend.

With the direction of motocross legend and Team Manager Roger DeCoster and Assistant Team Manager Ray Tetherton, the entire team is at the top of their game with the help of the championship-winning RM-Z450 and all-new fuel-injected RM-Z250. And with a roster of winning athletes that includes Lites Champion Ryan Dungey and Australian Lites Champion Matt Moss moving up to the pro Supercross class and Austin Stroupe in the Lites East series, the team is looking to have a great 2010 season.

Reigning Supercross Lites West Champion and AMA Motocross 250 Champion Dungey - a member of the winning U.S. Motocross of Nations team - is moving up to the 450 class this year. He's been putting the RM-Z450 to the test, and both racer and bike are in winning form. "We have a lot of hopes resting on Dungey for the 2010 season," DeCoster said. "He will be our main guy and I believe he is capable to adapt to the big boy's class, yet we need to stay realistic as everyone moving up has needed some time to adapt. Maybe the biggest difference is that now it's not eight or nine SX events to compete in but 17 in row and there is no time for a break or to regroup."

Dungey's fluid riding style and his ability to race smart will help him make a big impact in the Supercross series. "I'm really looking forward to this season, and I'm excited," Dungey said. "We've done a lot of preparation in the off-season, and the goal is to go out there and get my first win. I want to be in the hunt and I think we can make that happen. I'm going to do my best, I have a great team that works 100 per cent and I can't wait to get out there and race. I'm ready."

Adding to Dungey's chances of winning is mechanic Mike "Goose" Gosselaar, who wrenched on Ricky Carmichael's championship-winning Suzukis in the past.

Australian Pro Lites Supercross and Australasian Pro Lites Champion Moss is coming to the U.S. series and will be taking on the competition with his race-ready RM-Z450. Moss sustained an injury in the final Australian SX race of the season on December 5th in which he compressed the T5 vertebrae in his back, but he's on track to make his U.S. Supercross debut in the coming weeks. DeCoster said, "We had big hopes to see Matt Moss making the move up from Lites at the same time as Ryan, but due to his injuries sustained on a 450 after wining the Lites title in Australia, Matt will probably miss the first six events. I have been told that he is pretty resilient and should be able to come back strong." Moss is expected to recover in time to line up at the starting gate for most of the Supercross races and is looking forward to competing alongside Dungey aboard the Suzuki RM-Z450.

Austin Stroupe will be riding the RM-Z250 and competing in the Pro Lites East series after finishing second in the series in 2009. "Our Lites rider, Austin Stroupe, will do the East Coast Lites and will take the place of Moss in the Supercross class while we are at the West Coast events. Austin has been doing well in his preparation."

Stroupe is consistently one of the fastest racers on the track, and with the help of the all-new fuel-injected RM-Z250, he's poised to take the Pro Lites class by storm and get some valuable experience riding Moss' RM-Z450. "I'm really looking forward to getting out there and racing this year," Stroupe said. "I've got a great team, a great bike I've been putting in a lot of time on, and I feel really good. I'm ready to go."
