2011 Loretta Lynn's Regional Schedule Announced

Morgantown, W.Va. - MX Sports, producers of the AMA Amateur National Motocross Championship at Loretta Lynn Ranch, announce today the 2011 Regional Championship Schedule. The Regional Championships serve as the final races to seed riders into the National Championship at Loretta Lynn Ranch, and only riders who finish in a qualifying position at a regional event are eligible to race the national.

"We're excited to announce this schedule, which includes an all-star cast of regional tracks, including six venues with experience holding AMA Pro National events" says MX Sports Director Tim Cotter. "The tracks have been selected based on their ability to produce large and complicated events."

"The best amateur motocross racers in the world earn their way to the top through the AMA Amateur National Motocross Championships," says AMA Motocross Manager Kip Bigelow. "But qualifying to line up at Loretta Lynn's isn't easy. These competitors must race their way through a challenging Area and Regional qualifying system that guarantees a best-of-the-best lineup at the championships every summer. The AMA is looking forward to working with the dedicated and talented staff at MX Sports, and all the local track organizers who will make this happen in 2011."

Of note, Gatorback Raceway in Winter Garden, Florida, appears on the schedule for the first time in years, reducing the travel for the many Florida-based riders who usually travel further north for their Regional Championship. Thunder Valley Raceway in Lakewood, Colorado will host the South Central Regional Championship, a welcome break for the many Colorado riders who usually have to travel to Regional Championships further south. As always, the Regional Championship tracks revolve on a rotating schedule year-to-year.

Riders who qualify at the Regional Championships will then be eligible to race for the AMA Amateur National Championships at Loretta Lynn Ranch on August 1- 6, 2011.

Jason Anderson is the AMA Racing Motocross Horizon Award

PICKERINGTON, Ohio -- Thirty-five American Motorcyclist Association (AMA) members have joined the ranks of the 2010 AMA Racing national champions following a week of bar-to-bar racing at the AMA Amateur National Motocross Championships, presented by AMSOIL, at the Loretta Lynn Ranch in Hurricane Mills, Tenn.

"More than 1,400 qualifying riders worked through nationwide qualifiers for a chance to come to Loretta's to win an AMA Racing National No. 1 plate at the world's biggest week in motocross, and when the dust settled 35 remained," said AMA Director of Racing Joe Bromley. "MX Sports, the organizer of this event, put on another great week of racing in conditions that ranged from brutal heat to sloppy mud and gave our members a stellar track for deciding our 2010 AMA Racing amateur national motocross champions."

One of the most impressive riders of the week was AMA Racing Motocross Horizon Award winner Jason Anderson from Bernalillo, N.M. The Monster Energy Team Green Kawasaki rider won four of his six motos in the 450 A and 250 A/Pro Sport classes and took the national championship in 450 A. A DNF in the final 250 A/Pro Sport class, following two class wins earlier in the week, likely cost Anderson a second No. 1 plate.

"I'm really excited to win the Horizon award," said Anderson, who's also backed by Pro Circuit, Fly Racing, Volcom, Oakley, Sebastien Tortelli and Coach Seiji. "So many big names have won it, and I'm just exited to be one of them."

Anderson's final moto wasn't without drama, however. He had to race back from dead last to fifth to secure the championship.

"The week went really well at the beginning, and then on the last day, I had my bike break and the last moto I crashed three times on the first lap," Anderson said. "I was mad at myself for getting myself in that situation, but I just put my head down and charged through the pack. I was just pinned everywhere. I had a million people cheering me on. My last pit board said I had to get one more guy, so I wasn't sure I had one it until it was all over."

The AMA Racing Youth Motocrosser of the Year was Cooper Webb. Webb, from Newport, N.C., raced a Honda Red Bull JGR Racing CRF150R to a national championship in the SuperMini 1 class with two moto wins and a second. In the SuperMini 2 class, Webb finished second overall with a win and two thirds.

"This is the biggest achievement I've done," said Webb, who's also backed by Triangle Cycle, Thor, Smith, Kenda, Decal Works and FMF. "I won the first two motos, and then during the mud race, I had clutch problems, but still managed to get second. I'm really honored the AMA selected me for this. It's what I've been working for, as far as my goals, training, going to school and right now, I feel like this is one of my biggest achievements."

In the Vet ranks, Keith Johnson earned the AMA Racing Vet Motocrosser of the Year. Johnson, from Carver, Mass., took the Vet 35+ championship over Loretta Lynn legend Kevin Walker, from Gray, Tenn., who claimed his record 14th AMA Racing national championship No. 1 plate in the Senior 40+ class.

Rockstar Suzuki teammates Gannon Audette and Ian Trettel were two other high-profile champions. Audette, from Cairo, Ga., won the 450 A/Pro Sport class with three wins. Florida-based Trettel topped the 250 A class with a second and two moto wins.

Loretta Lynn's Wrap Up

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. - The 29th Annual AMA Amateur National Motocross Championship presented by AMSOIL came to a close on Saturday afternoon at Loretta Lynn Ranch in Hurricane Mills, Tenn. After a solid week of racing, 35 class champions were crowned. They emerged victorious from 1,406 finalists, who in turn had emerged from an initial qualifying field of more than 20,000 amateur motocross athletes. Each championship class ran three long motos-some in scorching heat, others in muddy conditions-on a rough and complicated ranch track that is off-limits for motocross riders the other 51 weeks of the year.

The AMA Amateur National Motocross Championship finals have been organized since their 1982 founding by MX Sports. A list of past champions includes such superstars as Ricky Carmichael, Jeremy McGrath, Travis Pastrana, James Stewart, Kevin Windham, Ryan Dungey, and more.

Earning the 450 A class title along with the AMA's prestigious Horizon Award was Team Green Kawasaki rider Jason Anderson. The New Mexico-based rider won four of his six motos during the week; a DNF in the 250 A/Pro Sport class after winning the first two motos likely cost him the title there. That victory instead went to his teammate Zack Freeberg, leaving Anderson with one last chance to take a title in the 450 A class. After starting the moto with an astonishing three crashes on the first lap, Anderson settled down and worked his way up from last to fifth to clinch the championship.


The two other A-class winners were Rockstar Suzuki teammates Gannon Audette and Ian Trettel. Audette, a Minnesota native who is now based in Cairo, Ga., topped the 450 A/Pro Sport division with a three-moto sweep, while the Florida-based Trettel topped the 250 A class with 2-1-1 moto scores. Winning the last two motos, Trettel topped Audette-the first-moto winner here-both times to take a title of his own.

As a testament to the competitiveness of the field, only two riders managed to take a pair of class wins: Team Green Kawasaki rider Justin Bogle (450 B Stock and 250 B Modified) and Suzuki rider Austin Forkner (85cc 9-11 Stock and Mod). Bogle, who hails from Oklahoma, was the only rider all week to go undefeated, sweeping all three motos in both of his classes and setting himself up as a top prospect in 2011.

Other B-class champions included California's Chris Plouffe (450 B Modified), Texan Brad Frace (250 B Stock) and another Californian, Tyler Bereman, in the College-Age (17-24) group. And in one of the best stories of the week, Vet +30 B/C rider David Jones took the title on a 2004 Kawasaki KX125 two-stroke motorcycle.

The AMA Vet Rider of the Year Award went to Massachusetts' Keith Johnson, who topped Kevin Walker to take the Vet +35 title. Walker in turn took his record-extending fourteenth Loretta Lynn's title in the Senior +40 class, as the Tennessean topped California's Doug Dubach. Dubach himself responded with the Senior +45 title on his DRD-backed Yamaha. The winner of the Masters +50 class was Monster Energy Kawasaki-backed Matt Tedder, the father of four young riders, two of whom are currently on the Lucas Oil AMA Pro Motocross Championship tour.


The minicycle divisions featured many interesting storylines. There was North Carolinian Cooper Webb's rise to the top on the Joe Gibbs Racing-powered Honda Red Bull Racing CRF150, giving the four-stroke a win in the highly competitive SuperMini 1 class-this after losing the SuperMini 2 class title with a last-lap gaffe that opened the door for the very fast Jace Owen to snatch up the title on his Rockstar Suzuki. There was also the emergence of Vermont's Dakota Alix to the national stage in the SuperMini classes, as well as the lost week of heavily-favored Adam Cianciarulo, who suffered crashes and DNFs on his Monster Energy Kawasakis and did not take a single moto win on the week.



In other 85cc racing, West Virginia's Steven Gretchen topped the 85cc (12-14) class on his American Suzuki-backed RM80, and Oregon's Christopher Allredge raced his Yamaha to the 85cc (12-14) Stock championship.

In the Women's classes, California's Alexah Pearson took home the title in the big-bike class, while Utah's Amanda Maheu topped the minicycle division.

HUNTERSVILLE, N.C. (July 22, 2010) – JGRMX Engine and Suspension Services will be trackside at the 29th Annual Amateur National Motocross Championships held at Loretta Lynn’s Ranch in Hurricane Mills, Tenn. to support amateur sensation Cooper Webb and assist other JGRMX Engine and Suspension Services customers.  This year’s event will be held Aug. 2 – 7.

At just 14-years old Cooper Webb is among the most decorated athletes in amateur motocross.  His trophy case includes 49 amateur national titles and he is looking to add two more in Tenn.  He will contest the Super Mini 1 (12-15) and Super Mini 2 (13-16) divisions.  Young Cooper, who resides in Morehead City, N.C. has been training and testing at the JGRMX test facility with Josh Grant and Justin Brayton in preparation for the race.

"The entire Webb family works relentlessly toward Cooper’s goal of becoming a top professional, and I am proud to be able to help them with suspension and engine settings," said JGRMX team owner Coy Gibbs.

"We worked closely with Cooper testing various settings on our outdoor track, and we feel confident we have a strong initial set-up going into the event.  We will be working closely with Cooper at the race to make any necessary adjustments," said Spencer Bloomer, JGRMX’s Research and Development Technician.

We have come to admire Honda Red Bull’s Andrew Short just as much off the track for the example he sets and the role model he has become for his many young fans. We’ll see what Shorty did during his break and get a report card on him half way through the outdoor school year.


It was a long time coming, but Geico Powersports Honda’s Trey Canard secured his first Lites outdoor overall at Red Bud after a tough and grueling battle to do so. They say the first is always the toughest, and the rest come much easier, so we’ll see if Trey just plans on running the table through the rest of the season if “they” are right. In all seriousness, we couldn’t let this milestone victory pass without having him on to celebrate just a little longer.


After finishing runner-up twice in the MX2 World Championships, Muscle Milk KTM’s Tommy Searle took the leap of faith across the pond to compete in the U.S. in 2009. While he’s shown flashes of his impressive speed and natural talent it has been a frustrating transition for the most part. The popular twenty-year-old has plenty of time to find his rhythm here in the states and we look forward to catching up with him tonight.

Travis Preston Signs with RipXX

SPRING HILL, Tenn. - Known as one of the most laid-back riders at the track; Travis Preston’s easygoing attitude and humorous nature give him an edge that fellow riders love. His lifestyle may seem relaxed and carefree, but the second his bike hits the track, "Presto" means business. This is why he trains with the Ripxx Personal Measurement Device.

Preston recently concluded his 12 year AMA professional racing career in 2009, but is nowhere close to exiting the racing world. He now offers rider clinics and training schools for amateur riders who have the drive to be better. When working with the up-and-coming riders Preston uses his secret training weapon - the Ripxx.

The Ripxx Personal Measurement Device is a small device about the size of a cell phone that can be attached to the rider by using the included holster. It contains a suite of sensors, along with a GPS tracking chip that records every move the athlete makes. Location, orientation, acceleration, velocity, altitude, air time, lap time, and number of jumps can all be measured. Following the run, Ripxx software enables the athlete to view his or her performance and results. This is what makes Ripxx so convenient for trainers like Preston.

Following a recent training session Preston said, "This product is a great training tool to use when working with different riders. I can actually pay attention to the riders on the track without having to keep up with multiple stopwatches."

Preston is currently training Daniel Baker; the 16-year-old rising star who along with Fly Racing and Oakley, is also sponsored by the Ripxx Racing Team. RJ Cook, the 11-year-old Loretta Lynn’s qualifier and Ripxx Racing Team member, is also one of Preston’s trainees. Preston’s experience and training ability is undoubtedly shining like a light through these riders, with much thanks to the Rippx device.

Training is one of the utmost strategies when it comes to excellent performance, and Preston understands exactly how it should work. He has been a strong partner in the development of the updated Ripxx software. Preston recommended a theoretical lap time to be included on the device, and Ripxx made it happen. The new application was recently launched.

Press Release For Immediate Release Ocean County Powersports Announces OCP Racing Great Start to the Racing Season Toms River, NJ - 3/23/10 - Team Ocean County Powersports racing celebrated a successful start to the 2010 motocross  racing season at Old Bridge Townships Raceway Park in Englishtown NJ this past weekend. After the initail opening weekend was postponed due to rain this weekend's Loretta Lynn's Area Qualifier became the new opening day race. The young racer from Brick NJ took three third place overall and one fifth place overall finish in his 4 classes. The East Brunswick NJ native's 1-4 and 1-2 moto finishes were good for second overall in both the 250 and 450 "C" classes in Saturday's racing while on Sunday Adam won 3 of the 4 motos he entered. A poor start in the second 250C moto on Sunday relegated him to 11th thus ruining his otherwise perfect afternoon. Ricky Carmichael University Releases Curriculum

(Tallahassee Florida) January 26, 2010 - Ricky Carmichael University, otherwise known as "RCU" is pleased to announce the school format and curriculum. RCU, which is the first school of its kind, is being held at Daytona International Speedway on Monday, March 8, 2010.
After an early morning check in, the school starts out with a breakfast, where all the participants will meet Ricky and his crew of decorated instructors. Riders will then suit up and go through an individual riding analysis, with each student assigned to an instructor. Following that, students will first work on proper body positioning, while utilizing the organized drills that RC himself used to help hone his skills. Drills will focus on flat turns, rhythm sections and improved braking techniques.
"I have spent quite a bit of time trying to put together the most important pieces of what I have learned through all my years of racing," said Carmichael. "This program is really cool, and I can't wait to personally run and discuss the braking and cornering drills, which I think is one of the easiest places on the track to make up time. I will be suited and riding, and won't hesitate to run some of them myself."
Participants can expect to work with the close knit members of Ricky's team, which has become known as "Camp Carmichael" over the years. The final line up of all-star instructors will be announced in the coming weeks, but participants can expect additional coaches with credentials validated by national championships.
RCU is an exclusive and unprecedented opportunity for Motocross riders young and old to get personalized one-on-one training with the greatest rider of all time -- Ricky Carmichael and his team. Team Green Succeeds at Florida Mini-O

Team Green dominates the podium at the 2009 Winter National Olympics.

Monster Energy Kawasaki Team Green riders celebrated the holiday weekend with a chart-topping 25 championships and 47 podiums at the 2009 Winter National Olympics in Gainesville, Fla. The riders were faced with both supercross and motocross racing throughout the week, proving their all-around riding ability. Young gun Chase Bell took home five total championships, while veteran riders captured every championship throughout the week in the plus classes.

With a three month break from the last big national at Loretta Lynn’s Ranch, Bell didn’t seem to miss a beat when he took to the track in Florida. Bell won every first moto he attempted and ended up with an impressive five championships in both 65cc and 85cc classes.

Plus Riders Take All
Kawasaki’s dominance in the Plus classes continued with James Evans, Jon Boruff, Mike Treadwell, Earl May, and Matt Tedder Sr. taking wins. Evans earned both the supercross and motocross titles in the Plus 30 and the Plus 25 supercross title, while Boruff snuck in and grabbed the Plus 25 motocross title. Treadwell swept up the Plus 35 and Plus 40 in both the supercross and motocross competition. May rode to a steady two title week with wins in both Plus 45 classes, while Tedder did the same in the Plus 50.

Chase and Tanner Round Up 65cc
With eight 65cc class championships up for grabs, Kawasaki’s KX65 took five of the eight throughout the week with the help of Bell and Stack. Between them, they won 12 of the 16 possible motos and took three of the four Olympiad awards in the 65cc classes.

First Big Bike Championship
Justin Summers took his first-career big bike championship in the competitive Open B Stock class. Summers had earned titles in smaller displacements, but this was his first on a bigger displacement. With the gate always stacked with talent, Summers showed off his supercross skills and was able to grab his first in his home state of Florida.

The Award Goes To…
The Monster Energy Kawasaki Team Green riders took home a host of awards after the final checkered flag was waved. Summers took home the special Thor Outstanding Achievement Award, while a handful of riders were named Olympiad of their specific classes. The Olympiad award is calculated by averaging the moto scores from both the supercross and motocross competition, with Kawasaki taking nine awards. Stack earned the honors in 65 (7-9) Division 1, Bell in the 65 (10-11) Division 2 and 85 (9-11) Division 3, Evans in the Plus 25 and Plus 30, Treadwell in the Plus 35 and Plus 40, May in the Plus 45, and Matt Tedder Sr. in the Plus 50.

The support that Team Green set out to offer 30 years ago was still being offered at the first official race of the new season in Florida. The staff’s assistance is available at each amateur national, along with select regional events throughout the year.

Muddy Track
After most of the supercross racing had concluded, the rains of Florida moved in to Gatorback Cycle Park. Although it had stopped for Thursday’s racing, the track conditions made it challenging for the riders.

FLY Riders Represent at the Dude Ranch

FLY Racing Team Riders had a very successful week at the Dude Ranch claiming 5 national championships, 9 podiums and 30 top ten finishes at this year’s Loretta Lynn’s AMA Amateur National Motocross Championship.

The championship run started with 65cc Florida/Canadian speedster Kade Walker, who claimed the 65cc 7-11 Modified title and followed it up with a 2nd in the 65cc 10-11 Stock class. Maryland’s Alexander Frye also claimed a title by winning a hard fought battle in the 85cc 9-11 Modified class.

FLY girls swept both titles in the female classes, with Utah’s Amanda Maheu one of the most dominant riders of the week claiming the Girls 11-15 title with a convincing 1-1-1 moto tally. Texan Shelbie Brittain completed the sweep by taking home the title in the Women’s 14+ class.

Washington’s Conner Elliot made it title number five for FLY Racing by scoring the 250cc C stock class title.

FLY Racing would like to congratulate all of its champions and all of its riders that represented the brand so well at this year’s 2009 Loretta Lynn’s AMA Amateur National Motocross Championship.

Thor: 13 Championships Highlight Racing at Ponca City and Loretta Lynn's

The amateur motocross circuit reached its peak over the past two weeks, grabbing the national spotlight with the sport's two biggest amateur national events in Ponca City, Okla. and Hurricane Mills, Tenn. In the end, the Thor amateur team walked away with 13 championships and 41 podium finishes in tow.

The Ponca City Grand National Championship marked the first week of the 11-day racing voyage for the amateur program. Thor riders won six championships and an additional 14 podium positions.

Once again, Dean Wilson led the way with the most titles winning three championships at Ponca City. Wilson had his work cut out for him as other riders in the A Class were not going to make it easy for him to continue his winning streak. While leading the 450 A Stock Class, Wilson went down in a slippery section of the track. He fell to ninth place and had a 14-second deficit from first place to overcome. The Scotland native was able to remount his bike and charge back to second place for the overall championship.

Unfortunately, in the 450 A Mod Class Wilson didn't have the same luck. While leading once again, he went into a corner in which the rut gave out causing both wheels to slip out from under him. Wilson was stuck under his bike for almost 10 seconds as Thor teammate Justin Weeks capitalized to make a pass for the lead. Weeks went into Ponca with the best fitness he has had in years. His championship in the 450 A Mod Class marked his first championship since 2006.

Ponca also marked significant championships for a pair of Xtreme Team Green Kawasaki riders, Zack Freeberg and Justin Bogle. Ponca marked the first amateur national Freeberg has raced in almost a year. Lining up on the starting gate next to the nation's top intermediate riders filled the 16 year old with nerves. After the first few motos, Freeberg seemed to relax into his normal riding style, winning the 450 4-Stroke Non-Pro Class.

Bogle has struggled this year with bad starts and horrible crashes. With school out for the summer, he was able to dedicate his time to train for the nationals. In almost every moto, Bogle rode in the top three, paying off at the end of the week when he took the title in the 125 2-Stroke Non-Pro Class.

After a successful start to the busiest two weeks in amateur motocross, the Thor team packed up and made the voyage south to Loretta Lynn's Ranch and the AMA /Air Nautiques Amateur National Motocross Championships. The Thor team captured 18 podium finishes, including six championships.

Sean Cantrell has proven to be the most consistent rider in the 65cc 7-9 Class this season. At Loretta's, he stayed true to consistency to take the 65cc 7-9 stock Class crown.

Matt Tedder Sr. made history at The Ranch this year, becoming the inaugural champion of the new Masters 50 Plus Class.

With a Ponca title to his credit, Justin Weeks came into Loretta's with a newfound confidence after his great performance just one week prior. Weeks put his Rockstar Suzuki on top of the podium in every moto of the 450 A Class for a perfect 1-1-1 moto sweep for the overall.

Justin Starling entered the 2009 season without any manufacturer help. In search of a bike, he was able to get a little help from close family friend and fellow Thor rider Travis Pastrana. The freestyle star and former motocross champion gave Starling his practice Suzuki RMZ-450. Determined to get the support of a bike manufacturer for next year; Starling was methodical in his training to get prepared for Loretta's. All his hard work and determination paid off when he captured the title in the 450 B Stock Class.

After a successful year on the amateur national circuit and a dominating debut in the MX2 class at the Canadian Motocross Nationals, Dean Wilson came into Loretta's with a huge amount of pressure to maintain the high standard of performance he set for himself. He handled the pressure with ease taking titles in the 250 A and 450 A Pro Sport classes. In addition to the two championships, Wilson was awarded the prestigious Horizon Award as the top performer among every class at Loretta's.

"Winning the horizon award is a great achievement," boasted Wilson. "That's what all of my hard work for the past ten years has been working towards. I couldn't have ended my amateur career on a better note."

While Thor's presence on the track was inspiring, its presence off the track was equally impressive. One of the strongest supporters of Loretta Lynn's, Thor and Parts Unlimited provided numerous amenities, activities and events for the thousands camping out to both watch and participate in the festivities.

As part of the 2010 launch of the newest and most technologically advanced gear from Thor, all team riders introduced the new lineup to the masses by wearing the latest apparel on the track. Adding to the Global Launch, Thor's professional stars visited The Ranch to sign autographs for the fans. Ryan Villopoto, Jeremy McGrath, Ryan Morais and even freestyle daredevil Robbie Maddison made special appearances, enjoying the on-track action as well as the summer camp feel surrounding the event.

The brand new "Hall of Champions" served as a highlight of Loretta's, celebrating champions of past and present at the 28th running of the event. To start the week off right, a pit bike race brought the fans to their feet on Wednesday night while Thor/Pro Circuit appreciation dinner gave thanks to all sponsored riders and their families.

It was a memorable couple weeks for everyone involved and with such strong showings by the talented Thor amateur competitors, the future is looking bright.

Kawasaki's Loretta Lynn's Amateur Report

Monster Energy Kawasaki Team Green finished off its two-week stretch of racing by celebrating an extraordinary 17 championships and 24 podium finishes at the AMA Amateur National Motocross Championship at Loretta Lynn’s Ranch in hot Hurricane Mills, Tenn. No other manufacturer came close to the domination Kawasaki put on at the ranch, leaving Kawasaki as the only one to score double-digit championships. Double winners included pro rider Dean Wilson, vet Keith Johnson, and young guns Adam Cianciarulo and Zach Bell. Along with Wilson’s two championships, he was awarded the esteemed Horizon Award.

The racing week started off with a bang on Tuesday and was full throttle till Saturday. When the final moto was finished Saturday afternoon Kawasaki walked away with an incredible 17 championships.

“The 2009 season has been a great year for Team Green and to cap it off with 17 championships at Loretta Lynn’s is incredible,” said Team Green Supervisor Ryan Holliday. “Our riders really stepped it up in the final motos to earn championship after championship.”

For the second straight year, a Canidae Motosport Kawasaki rider produced the prestigious Horizon Award. Last year it was PJ Larsen and this year Dean Wilson claimed the honor.

“There were a lot of deserving riders,” said Wilson. “It’s such a great honor to receive the award knowing the competition is so good. It feels awesome.”

Even though the podium finishers didn’t get a championship plate, their efforts were greatly noticed. Kawasaki had 24 riders stand on the podium, which was more than any other manufacturer. In the Junior 25 Plus, Vet 35 Plus and Women Plus 14, Kawasaki covered the podium in green by sweeping all three classes.

With 17 championships to show off, the Kawasaki riders also racked in an impressive honor with 41 moto wins in 31 entered classes. The next manufacturer only had 15 moto wins to their name.

Adam Cianciarulo was the overall winner in the 85 (12-13) Modified Class at Loretta Lynn's Amatuer National Motocross.

Cianciarulo’s week wasn’t perfect, but he knows what it takes to be a champion, having earned over 50 championships to his name. With a nearly perfect showing in the 85 (12-13) Stock class, Cianciarulo had his work cut out for him in the modified class. With a 3-6 in the first two motos, it was up to him to bring home a win to earn the championship. He did just that, claiming both championships in the 85 (12-13) Stock and Modified classes.

Just like Kawasaki’s Wilson, youngster Zach Bell earned five out of six moto wins. With his impressive showing at Loretta Lynn’s, Bell was presented with the Youth Motocrosser of the Year award.

Every year, Kawasaki treats its loyal riders to a fun-filled dinner in the Greenville area. With the theme “Greenwood”, many of the riders dressed up like famous people and characters to celebrate. Check back soon for a gallery of images on the widget.

With the 2010 Kawasaki KX™250F and KX™450F just being released, the riders and fans got a chance to see the new machines up-close on Wednesday. Team riders Timmy Ferry and Ryan Morais displayed the bikes during a hot lap around the famous Loretta Lynn’s track, while Ryan Villopoto cheering them on.

All week long, the Team Green staff was available for the riders to purchase parts and receive service from the team mechanics. This is a valuable service that many Kawasaki riders take advantage of at Loretta Lynn’s and at other staffed races.
