Ryan Dungey Leads Rockstar/Rockwell Fast Lap Competition!

After 6 of 12 rounds, Rockstar/Makita Suzuki’s Ryan Dungey has established himself as the man to beat in the Rockstar Energy/Rockwell Time Fast Lap Competition. The Fast Lap Competition, new for 2010, awards one point to the rider who posts the fastest lap time in the second 450 moto at each round of the 2010 Lucas Oil AMA Pro Nationals. After grabbing the Fast Lap bonus points at Budds Creek, Thunder Valley, and RedBud, Dungey heads into Milleville this weekend with 3 -point lead over Andrew Short and Mike Alessi, both of whom have 1 point each.

What’s the carrot for the 450 riders? How about a sick custom Rockwell watch!!! After the 2010 season wraps up at the series finale at Pala Raceway, the top three riders with the most Fast Lap points will be the proud owners of a one-off, custom engraved, diamond loaded Rockwell timepiece.

The current point standings are: 1. Ryan Dungey (4 points), 2. Mike Alessi (1 point), 3. Andrew Short (1 point).
