Yamaha Opens Contingency Registration

Cypress, CA. -- Yamaha Motor Corporation, USA is proud to launch the 2014 YZ/WR Contingency for members of the Yamaha bLU cRU, with $3.76 Million up for grabs.
Yamaha racers have long used contingency as a means to keep their YZs race ready for the next event on their racing calendar. This was made even easier with the expansion of Yamaha’s YZ/WR contingency payouts to include every professional racer to make a main in Supercross or the field at a National.
Yamaha is expanding coverage and increasing payouts to the top ten finishers at 9 premier Amateur races around the country. These 9 premier races are:
  • Loretta Lynn’s Amateur National Championships
  • AMA Winter Olympics
  • Mammoth Mountain MX
  • GNC Int. Final
  • Freestone Spring Championship
  • NMA Grand National
  • AMA Spring Classic
  • Ponca City Amateur Nationals
  • World Mini GP
Additionally, all payouts to bLU cRU amateur members will be made via the new Yamaha bLU cRU debit card.
Registration is now open for the 2014 Racing Season, so make sure you’re eligible by owning a 2012, 2013 or 2014 YZ/WR and go to www.yamahabLUcRU.com to sign up for your opportunity to earn your fair share of Yamaha’s contingency payout as a member of the Yamaha bLU cRU.
While you’re registering for 2014 Contingency, be sure to check out the videos from this year’s Loretta Lynn’s Amateur Championships featuring up and coming amateur riders, including riders on PW50s all the way up to those battling on the YZ450F.
