Camarillo, CA (May 9, 2016) –   Team BTO Sport-KTM-WPS ended the Supercross season inside Sam Boyd Stadium for round 17 of the 2016 Monster Energy Supercross series in Las Vegas, NV. Team rider Justin Brayton battled the treacherous conditions for a 7th place finish, while teammate Davi Millsaps suited up to finish the season and Benny Bloss rode aggressive to make the main event.

Justin Brayton took the long way to the main event, as he battled the muddy conditions all night. He would transfer to the main event through the LCQ, where he took command and won by 30 seconds. In the main event, Brayton overcame a back of the pack start, and worked his way up through the field. He rode smart in the sticky mud, as Engine Ice kept his engine at optimum temperature through the main event and allowed him to work his way inside the top ten. At the checkered flag, Brayton finished the night in 7th place and secured 8th place in championship points.

“I rode smart tonight” Brayton said. “While the track conditions weren’t ideal, I made the best of it out there, rode my own race and did what I needed to do.”

Davi Millsaps made his return to supercross with a strong ride in his heat race, using the traction of his Pirelli MX tires to launch out of the gate and round the first turn at the front of the pack. He continued to ride aggressive and finished 2nd in the heat.  In the main event, Millsaps would once again get a strong start and ran inside the top five for half the race until going down in the whoops, ending his night

Benny Bloss rode aggressive in the tricky conditions, as he made the main event through a strong ride in the semi where he finished 5th.  In the main event, Bloss was working his way up through the field, following teammate Justin Brayton inside the top ten until going down in the mud while running 11th. He would get back up and finish the night in 19th.

“I felt good out there despite the conditions” Bloss said. “I want to thank the team for all of their hard work and this opportunity this season.”

The team is now preparing for the opening round of the Outdoor Motocross Championship at Hangtown MX on May 21.
