RiderDown Blood Drive In Memory of Fallen Riders

EVERGREEN, CO (April 30, 2010) - This summer, the RiderDown Foundation is out for blood....your blood.   We’re asking for your help with the RiderDown Blood Drive In Memory of Fallen Riders.  Please spread the word and bring a friend.  We all know how important it is to have an adequate supply of blood on hand when it’s needed.  

The RiderDown Foundation, whose mission is to help injured off-road riders is sponsoring a nationwide, week long blood drive.   The dates for this first annual blood drive are June 7-11, 2010.  People wishing to donate blood in the memory of their fallen friends and fellow riders can find their local blood center by visiting RiderDown’s website at www.riderdown.org and look for the thread “RDF Blood Drive in Memory of Fallen Riders - HELP!”   We encourage anyone who rides, has children or friends that ride to take a few minutes out of their week to stop at their local blood center to give blood.   You never know, the blood you give may save the life of a friend or loved one!

Nicoletti Helmet Auction

Hot Hedz Designs and Michael Meresca, M.D. of  St. Lawrence Radiology has donated a custom painted Bell Moto 8 for Phil Nicoletti of Team Alessi/St. Lawrence Radiology #175 (250 lites class) to wear this weekend at Anaheim 3, for the Pink Race. 

After the race the helmet will be given to Feld, Inc. for the auctions that will be going up to benefit Susan B. Komen Foundation.
