Pirelli Tire Support at Amateur National MX

Next week the world’s biggest motocross event will commence in Hurricane Mills, Tenn. for the legendary Air Nautiques/AMA Amateur National Motocross Championships from Loretta Lynn’s Ranch. Pirelli Tire will be on hand to support the 28th running of the race with full service from its race semi August 4-8.

Pirelli-sponsored riders will receive first class treatment and full tire service throughout the five-day national while the company will provide special event pricing for all nationally-qualified competitors at the event.

“I want to congratulate all riders and their families for their commitment and hard work it takes to qualify,” stated Pirelli Motocross Manager Josh Whitmire. “To better serve the riders competing at Loretta’s we will have our best motocross tire technicians on site the entire week. In addition to our technical advise we will offer our premium Pirelli Scorpion MX tires at special pricing to assure each rider is on a new set of tires when the gate drops.”

All competitors are invited to stop by the Pirelli semi to learn more about the Scorpion MX family of tires. Scorpion MX tires have won 51 World Motocross Championships and Pirelli Tire has been winning races for 100 years.

Since 1982, the Loretta Lynn’s Amateur National Motocross Championships has been the world’s premier event in the sport of motocross, hosting the sport’s biggest stars for nearly three decades. Each year, thousands of hopefuls throughout the country battle through area and regional qualifiers for their chance at a coveted title.

Rider resumes for the 2010 season will be accepted throughout the week at Loretta Lynn’s and all interested participants will receive a personal introduction to the Pirelli family.
